Husband ordered beer and water. Water came.Had to ask again for beer forgot? Husband order sliced beef sandwich chips were... included asked if wanted pickles,onions and barbeque sauce. All got was sliced beef sandwich.I ordered ribs and chopped beefplate with two sides.Ordered cabbage and macaroni and cheese.Brought plate out 2 ribs and little bit of chopped beef.Macaroniand cheese came to table. Suddenly out of cabbage ordered greens instead.Had to ask for barq. sauce.You think it would come withit.To me $24.00 was high for serving received.Ribs , Macaroni and Cheese,Greens were all good. When in a Tuesday night was notbusy maybe four tables. The people working there we came in contact with very nice. Kinda loud in there for few people inthere.Staff to much cutting up near bar. This is my first time eating here and I'm 50/50 I got the catfish with okra and tomatoes and broccoli casserole. Welp they... didn't give me casserole and there was a hair fried on my fish...now to be honest the fish was good and I was disappointed tofind the hair there the okra and tomatoes very good just hate I didn't get my broccoli casserole and I paid 27 dollars for theplate which is steep. Amazing food. Service was incredible. $3 dollar margarita tasted like Candy. ???? I got a flat tire on my road bike in the... parking lot and they were so cool they held my bike inside the back of restaurant until I could pick it back up. This is a rare gem! A fantastic family run restaurant that will have you believing you are sitting at your granny's table eating... food straight from the garden , the farm animals and catfish pond. These establishments need to be recognized for upholding trueblue southern cuisine. The fried chicken was juicy but not greasy. The catfish perfectly seasoned and breaded. Those collardgreens... flavorful with a smokey taste. I don't know why it's not busier but it just gained one regular family today! Read more
My experience was great. The whole vibe of the restaurant was cool. The food was awesome and with friendly service to match. My husband and I love and know good food. Everything we ate was awesome. Seasoned just right. Not too much spice (like some soul... food restaurants tend to do). We will be back this weekend!
