My family and a few friends tried this place out Friday afternoon, and let me start out by saying the staff are some of the most... friendly you will ever meet. From the hostess to the waiters and even the bar tenders. We had a few drinks that were made justright to start off with than went strait to the main coarse because we heard they serve great portions. Some of us had the steakand it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The other dishes looked really good across from me and my friends wouldn't even let metry theirs because they wanted to saver every last bite. We also had some great wines with our on tray recommended by our waiterthat went with our meal perfectly. Overall hands down best place near Lake Conroe. Read more

Just had a great brunch at the Cedar Lodge. This place is great and the atmosphere is phenomenal. The staff is friendly and very... helpful and the food was great. The management and owners take great pride in there new restaurant and they will he around fora long time. Read more

You need an attraction like live music as a draw on the weekends. Things like handmade onion rings, fried mushrooms are great... for appetizers. We got the bread basket not very good at all. People who live on or close to the Lake are pretty simple people. Have more simple things to eat as well as some of your other items. Good food, good service, nice place. Only open for 3 days. A decent,crowd for a Wednesday. Word is getting around about this... place. All 4 people in my group really liked good. Pasta made on site. Herbs grown on site. Beautiful patio area. A realfind. We will be back. Read more

Had dinner with wife and a couple friends here. Staff was polite and friendly . Atmosphere was pleasant. Food was outstanding... and portions were more than adequate. Had drinks from the bar that were perfect. Waiter made a recommendation for a red winethat was very nice. Will be going back again! Read more
