This is a favorite place. We do take out and dine in. One of the managers knows my name need I say more. We always order a... strawberry lemonade and if I forget she will ask me about it. Take out is always a plus when we are in a rush. The Butter PecanBlondie is a new favorite of ours. We have to have two of their devices on our table for kids to play with and so far it has notbeen a problem. We like to talk to our servers and I have noticed that politeness goes a long way. Good food and open late. Some items are brought in frozen, thawed and fried, like the fish and chips. The chicken Alfredo was... served cold inside. They apologized and made things right. The building itself is super outdated, especially the bathroom. The womens bathroom was an abomination. Please give this place... the remodel it deserves! BUT I went here for my birthday lunch and the food was delicious! The service was outstanding. Teenawas our server and she was so friendly, attentive, and efficient. There wasn?t any other employees available, so she sang thehappy birthday song to me by herself! A lot of servers would never do that. 1st time ever to an Applebee's. Service was good, food was good (had the baby back ribs) wife had chicken Fiesta and it tasted... as good as a chain restaurant should tast. We dont eat dessert but they had a crazy $1 brownie bites and it look Amazing! I willgo back. Read more
My husband and I were in town for a family reunion and decided to try Applebee's which would be our first time at this... restaurant. The wait time was absurd, however the food was delicious the only thing my husband wasn't sold on were the shrimp.Overall the food was hot, fresh, and very delicious thanks for the great service. This was our 2nd time coming to this location. The 1st visit we were given stale chips with our appetizer, notified our waiter... he took them and brought back fresh ones--problem solved. But if there was fresher chips back there why bring out stale ones? Itwas almost like they wanted to finish up that pack of chips first and hopefully no customers would send them back. Thistime.... I originally ordered the chicken tender platter & my boyfriend ordered the ribeye steak -medium Waitress comes back andtells me they are out of tenders, I look over the menu again and order Crunchy Shrimp. Food comes out...delivered by anotherlady my food is correct and on point, however when my boyfriend cuts into his steak it's well-done instead of medium. OurWaitress stops by and asks if everything was ok..He asked her if that steak looked medium, she said no that's way done. She tookit back and had another one cooked, I continued to eat. After I'm halfway done eating a different lady delivered his platesaying, "here you go the manager cooked you another one..go ahead and cut into that for me." It was more rare than medium. Hejust settled for it and the same sides that were on his plate when it was delivered the first time had not been replaced withfresh sides. This review is not timely but I would like sincerely thank and greatly commend Applebee's Conroe for honoring Veterans with a... free meal the past November 11.
