I used to work right beside El Paso in conover and their food was always great. But the last few times I've got food take out.... There has not been so great today. I caught in an order The lady on the phone was very polite. She told me 20 minutes to pickup. I arrived around 20 minutes my food was in the window. I'd order the ACP. I went out to the car because I have a dog with meOpen my box. It took a first bite. The chicken is pretty much burnt on one side. I guess. Maybe they got busy and left it on thegrill too long but it never should have been served to the public. It should have been tossed. One side of the chicken lookedgreat but the other side had black char marks on it and when I took my first bite that's all I can. Taste is like burnt food andthe food was cold. Lukewarm I should say not exactly cold but nowhere near fresh after I waited 20 minutes to pick up a freshorder of food to me this is something that they had messed up and instead of throwing in the trash and losing a little bit ofinventory because the cook had got busy or whatever and forgot about the chicken. So for the sake of losing the piece ofchicken, they served it and lost a customer ???? I was there at 12:20 12:30 in the afternoon when business was booming butthat's when the food should be the freshest when you have plenty of people there. The last few times I've ate there, it's theopposite. Maybe the food's better if you go during slow hours. Maybe they don't have enough kitchen help to produce good qualityfood with all the covet and everything that's happened. A longtime favorite! They did a great job on our meal, even worked with my wife to modify a dish so she could stay inside her... keto boundaries. Our server, Julien, was very responsive and personable. The interior was bright and colorful. Service wasprompt, the food fresh and hot, just as we ordered. The flavors were spot on! Absolutely amazing from the nice waiter to the flawless food, it was awesome. It literally was so good that I got to the car and... it brought a tear to my eye, not even going to lie.
