A friend and I went there to unwind after helping me moving into my new place so we went to shoot some pool and get a couple... drinks and some people started some trouble with us. The Roadhouse Bar&Grille usually always have a live band on Friday and Saturday throughout the warmer parts of the year. Also if... your not sure where to go for Halloween, Thanksgiving Eve, New Years Eve, Superbowl, Steelers Games head down 281 almost to thepoint when you start asking yourself should I turn around bc you've probably lost cell service and there's literally nothingaround besides cow pasture and barns, lol don't turn around I promise you won't be disappointed if your looking for a small townbar you'll be welcomed by an awesome and friendly staff always looking to meet new folks. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I was there late afternoon and I visited with two other people. It took a long... time before a server came over to take our order. When I placed my salad order I pointed to the menu and made sure that I wasgetting exactly what I was ordering. The server verified my order, and after waiting for a period of time after the others foodhad come out, my food finally arrived to the table. What I thought I was getting was the equivalent to a large garden salad withgrilled chicken breast on top; what actually came out was that covered with french fries, shredded cheese, beets, and pickledeggs. I was shocked! I asked the server what it was and told her it wasn't what I ordered. I showed her the menu and remindedher of me verifying exactly what I was getting. She confirmed that the kitchen staff had messed up the order and took the plateback. Those with me finished their meal and got to watch me eat when my order came out. When it came out it was delicious. Thosewith me didn't care for their food. At one point the cook was out at the bar braiding the hair of another employee. When we gotup to leave, my two guests went outside and I headed to the restroom. When I came out of the restroom I heard the employeestalking about me. When I walked by they stopped. I told them to go ahead and talk and not to feel uncomfortable with what theywere saying because I was leaving. When we did a Google search for the best restaurants in the area this one came up as #2. Thestaff was very unprofessional and the service was terrible. I won't be returning to this restaurant. This was a great find on the way to Ohiopyle. Wings were some of the best I've had. Fun roadhouse atmosphere, although a bit... smokey. Read more
