This is our favorite korean BBQ restaurant. Every time we were in Vaughan, this is our go to place for our bbq cravings. Pretty good but expensive. $36-$39 per person depending on the night. They offer discounts for seniors and children under 10yr.... The food was all tasty though and the service was great. Very friendly staff and manager. Clean environment. Only things I'dcomplain about is they don't have sweet and sour or plum sauce for the rice(mostly due to my picky kid) and they don't serve anyalcohol which isn't the end of the world to me but that might be a no go for others. Horrible cuts of meat marinated really badly. You can taste the massive amount of meat tenderizer powder. Grill never gets... changed during entire meal and by the end anything taste unpalatable because of the bitterness from burnt grill. For years, I?ve always passed this spot and never even noticed. With an intense craving for Korean BBQ and finding that Chako... was the closest to me, I said let?s give it a try. So we did and I?m glad! The food was great, especially the beef! The servicewas good and fast, got so many water refills! However, some items were not brought out or the wrong amount was served. Therestaurant is visually nice and well laid out, a lot of booth seating which provides more privacy. My real only negative is thatthe sushi was not my favourite. The rice was too vinegary and just overall they weren?t a standout to me. All in all, I woulddefinitely go back and would recommend to others. Read more

Had a great time visiting this location of Chako?s for the first time. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Service is good and the ventilation is really good. I believe that being able to offer sushi, Izakaya would justify the price... per head. Food is wonderful.
