This is an unfortunate post that I hate to make but is well deserved. Yama is absolutely terrible, unprofessional and the worst... place I?ve been to in a long time. As someone that eats sushi on a regular bases (one of my favorite meals) all over thecontinent/world as my job is travel and wanted to try somewhere closer to home, I will never recommend this place to anyone. Disgusting! The fried rice is nasty. How you mess up fried rice. I ordered the chicken & shrimp, it doesn?t seem like they even... put any soy sauce on the food. I also ordered fried cheesecake?now?I should?ve known better, but I thought I?d try it. Smh. Badidea. I just picked up my food at 5, they don?t open until 4:30, so I would expect my food to be fresh. Great atmosphere and good sushi. ???? The service is quick. A large menu with many options. Restaurant is closed during the... afternoon but is open for dinner. Bartender is only there every other day, so mixed drinks aren't always available. Read more
I really enjoyed our experience here. We came on a Saturday night at 8:00 and the restaurant was very quaint and had minimal... people. Our waitress was nice. We got the chicken fried noodles, fried rice and a philly roll and a california roll. As theserolls are pretty basic, we can?t exactly judge the quality of all sushi here, but my boyfriend really enjoyed them. Noodles andrice were delicious. Will definitely be ordering them again. I think the price was fair. I spent around $9 for the noodles andit was definitely a decent meal. The rice was about $7. I personally think this is fair price for a good meal. The wait time forthe food was also very reasonable and we were greeted very soon after we were sat. Read more
Shrimp fried rice was not the best but aceptable, shrimp and chicken teriyaki was great. Definitely recommend this place.... Service was owesome and the place vey well fitted. Read more
If you like big portions or portions worth the price, DO NOT go here. This was so disappointing. We ordered fried noodles, I got... veggie and my husband got chicken. The chicken was dry and the noodles had no sauce other than maybe a bit of soy sauce. Theshrimp sauce they gave us didn?t help a bit. Plus the size was way small than expected. We thought the noodles were going to besoba, but when we got our plates they were clearly ramen. For $0.20-$0.50 cent ramen you get at Walmart, this was half as muchramen you would get in that. Plus some veggies, for $7.95.... not worth it in my opinion. I only give 2 stars instead of 1because the taste wasn?t terrible and the server was nice. Read more
Wow this place is great! Our food was incredible and came out very very quickly. Waitress was a doll! Hibachi comes with soup... and salad which I would have ordered anyway so great deal for me. Hot towels are a bonus too. Read more
Out of four rolls, none of them had any flavor. I felt like I was eating rice with cucumber. Imitation crab was dry and old.... Miso soup is bland too, not enough miso powder. No better than Harris teeter sushi. Don?t go. Read more
