We purchased the family meal - whole chicken with three sides. Including the four drinks, I paid under $35 and we left very... satisfied. The chicken was marinated well and was very juicy. The Peruvian fried rice was very flavorful. The sweet potato frieswere crispy. The yellow sauce was a bit spicier than at other locations but I still enjoyed it. I went to Viva Chicken for the first time (been wanting to try it for a while!) the other day and I'm pleasantly surprised. I... got the half chicken so I could try both white and dark meat. Both were super juicy and the skin was so flavorful. I hadcilantro lime rice and plantains. The plantains were so yummy and crispy on the edges and soft and sweet inside. The rice was abit dry but I put the medium sauce on it and it was delicious. The sauce they make in different heat levels is so good. It's agreen sauce kinda chimi style. I could drink it it's so good. The chicken with the sauce is so good. I got a the orange specialjuice, Mara Cuya, and I wish I had it every day. They let you sample the juices when you're ordering. I got the churro fordessert and one order came with 2 churros. The best, most authentic churros ever. SO yummy. My boyfriend got a tres leches cakeslice and it was also very delicious. The atmosphere is great. You order and pay at the register and they give you a number todisplay at your table. Drinks are self serve unless you got a special juice. They bring the food put quickly and hot and fresh.You dump your trash when your finished and leave your tray. Very cool atmosphere and beautiful on the inside. Definitelyrecommend this place. ???? We love Peruvian food, so when we saw this close to our hotel we were thrilled. The ratings others gave were spot on. The... chicken was tender and juicy and the plantains were heavenly! I love this place! I?ve had viva chicken on many occasions but rarely dine in. Today, me and my boyfriend split the 1/2 chicken,... plantains, and sweet potato fries. This was enough to fill us up! The place was very clean and we really loved the look insidethe place. We thought the food was great? it was fresh & the meat of the chicken was juicy and we love the seasonings they usedon it. My boyfriend had to use the restroom while we were there and he said ?The bathroom was pretty clean. Not spotless, butpretty clean.? So?. I guess???? Never had an issue here. The food comes out quick, tastes excellent and the service is plenty acceptable. The 1/4 chicken... white with 2 sides is a really large meal for the average person. I personally think their chicken needs no sauces as it istasty and tender- but their sauces are so good I get the fries just so I can dip them in the red and green ones.
