The food was so good as it always is. ???? Sometimes you just want certain food and thus cafeteria style allows you to go down... the line and put whatever you want on your tray! And the staff working in the dining room is so very friendly. We had a lovelylady fill our drinks and ask if we needed anything. Also, don't miss the chocolate creme pie!!! It's so good!!! Read more
Let me first start by saying I have never heard of K&W. My friend convinced me to come in for lunch. Boy, I'm so glad I did. Ms.... Shirl was absolutely amazing and gives true definition to Southern Hospitality. I loved her energy and friendly demeanor. Wouldrecommend based on her alone!!! Read more
Food was edible, as it usually is, except the fish was dry and rubbery. What stood out today was the incredible lack of care or... work ethic from the people cleaning up. And I mean that to say that it didn?t happen at all before or while we were there.Several tables (I counted 7) were left dirty while the two women on the floor chatted away in the kitchen area or to othercustomers. We stopped at this K&W Cafeteria on Saturday August 27, 2022, while traveling. We got there at 5 minutes until closing and were... concerned that it was too late. We were welcomed at the door by one of the workers who proclaimed "Come in an let's get youfed." The server couldn't have been nicer as well as the cashier. The highlight was a young man named Antoine who assisted uswith our refills and bussed the tables. He was a delight. He brightened our day, especially our 12 year old great grandson.Thank you for your great service! Read more
2 meals with tea were good. We split a delicious chocolate pie. All this for $24.12. The food here is usually good. Lines can... get long sometimes but its worth the wait. The employees are terrific. Read more
I have always loved K&W Cafeterias and have been going since I was a child. I actually drove 20 mins out of my way while I was... back in NC for an appointment, because it's one of the things I miss. Chocolate pie and yeast rolls are the best. ???? Thewaitresses and staff were very kind with me getting there late and didn't rush me to eat despite my best efforts to finish upand go. ???? Unfortunately didn't realize I couldn't leave tip on the card and didn't have cash on me, so if the owner has away I can do that, I'd appreciate it. Read more

This was my first time visiting with my husband and we were highly disappointed. The food was absolutely disgusting. How do you... serve overcooked unseasoned food? Literally nothing was seasoned. Now I understand why the guy packing our platters was justlaughing the whole time, he knew the food was disgusting too. The Mac & cheese noodles were overcooked, soggy and unseasoned.The breading of the fish was super thick & fell off everytime I tried forking it, unseasoned and the fish itself had a clearcolor like it's farm raised and not wild caught. The greens were dry and unseasoned and one of the workers hyped it up like itwas one of the favorites in there. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I am highly disappointed. May I suggest cooking withlove like you're about to serve it to your family. Use seasoning on all of the food. When you have a customer enter & say it'sthere first time at your establishment. Welcome them, guide them and don't just sit there looking at them like we can read yourmind. Read more
