I’m leaving a review because I noticed there were so many mixed reviews before I ordered from House of India for the first... time. I ordered the Vegetable Samosas, Garlic Naan, and Butter Chicken. My food was ready quickly and also hot. I tried theVegetable Samosas first and after having the first one the first thing I said was “wow”. Quite literally the best samosa Ihave ever had and the sauce it comes with is so yummy. Next, I had some of the rice with butter chicken over it and each bitewas flavorful. Even the chicken was bursting with flavor and wasn’t tough or chewy at all, it was just perfect. Lastly, I hadthe garlic naan which was still warm even 30 minutes after I picked up my order (ps the owner was very kind when he greeted meand made sure I had everything before leaving the store!). I dipped the naan in the butter chicken and it was everything I hadhoped for. I will say, as a heads up, you may not like the naan if you don’t like cilantro so just keep that inmind. Personally, I get full pretty quickly and I would estimate that I still have another two servings of butter chicken withrice, 3 pieces of garlic naan and a samosa left over. It was kind of expensive but honestly worth it for the quality of thefood. This is my new fav spot for local Indian cuisine! Read more

The staff is not very friendly, the food is expensive for what it is. The “onion chutney” tasted like it was made with... Franks redhot sauce. The Naan is very plain. I would not recommend, will not be going back. Read more

We order from this restaurant often and have yet to be disappointed. Their sauces are full of flavor. Garlic naan is great too.... Other reviews mention that the service was poor, and while the owner isn't the most ecstatic person in the world, I had a niceconversation with them. Read more

Good was great but no dining room experience as they aren't yet ready to go back to full service. We took our did and had a... great dining experience in the outdoors so everything worked out in the end. I would definitely go back. Read more

I love Indian food and I was told that it's sub par at best and they couldn't be more wrong. Everything we got was... absolutely Delicious. The chicken vindaloo was spectacular, and the chicken saag was the best I've had since India. Five starsfor sure Read more

We order takeout frequently from House of India. I typically call in our order and it’s always ready when we arrive. We drive... from Belmont to pick up our food here, and it is well worth the drive. Everything is always very fresh and flavored nicely. Youcan get things spicy if you’d like, but mild is truly mild enough for sensitive tastebuds. The folks in here are always veryfriendly when we pick up our food as well. Read more

Never had a bad meal here! Samosas are excellent, chicken vindaloo is so spicy but so tastey you cant stop eating it! Naan is... fresh and perfect! Mango Lassi is best I have had anywhere! Owner waited on us. All smiles and checked on us frequently. This was a sunday at 1pm, most recently. Read more
