Wonderful, historic spot! The pot roast was tender and delicious. The server/bartender was attentive and kind and made sure to... check in on us frequently, but not too often that we didn?t have private time. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. We will beback! Read more

In my neck of the woods there are lots of these types of restaurants. They're all old and tired. They all serve what you'd... expect. The Liberty at the Colonial was such a pleasant surprise. A mix of traditional offerings complemented by someinteresting and creative dishes. Service was on point. Fair prices. Comfortable atmosphere...all while maintaining the old worldcharm. I'll definitely be going back! Read more

Delicious and enchanting location. Highly recommend the pot pie, the inn burger, and the meat loaf (seasonal item for the Fall).

Stopped for a Sunday lunch and had a choice of tavern porch or dining area. Feels very historic. Food was attractive and tasty... (got chowder and salad). Excellent service. Read more

Excellent food. I had the steak frites and my friend had the Yankee pot roast. We also shared a poutine appetizer. Neither of us... could finish our food but we kept picking at it until the check came after we were already stuffed because it was so good! Read more

I felt this place was so good that I got takeout here two nights in a row! I?m transitioning to the area as I?ve started my job... in Boston. So half the week I am staying in an Airbnb. There are a few things I?d like to highlight that the colonial inn isdoing well. The food is delicious! I had takeout so I had to drive a little and then eat it. Still on point! I?m excited to eathere without getting take out. Ambiance is welcoming, staff is helpful, and people seem to really enjoy their time here. Thelocation is beautiful, sitting across the street from the park in the roundabout? it?s calming and enjoyable. So, if you arelooking for a good place to grab some food, even takeout- check out the Colonial Inn! Read more

Four of us went for dinner last night. Between us we had Buffalo tenders, a Flat bread, Chicken Piccata, and the Swordfish... Special as well a calamari app., strawberry shortcake and chocolate cake. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious andperfectly cooked. Seldom do we dine out and all thoroughly enjoy our meals. Service was prompt, courteous and well-timed,portions were generous. The setting is beautiful. We put our name in, 40-minute wait, and went to walk the bridge and to theold manse. Great way to spend an evening and fantastic meal. Perfection. We will be back! Enjoyed some drinks at the Village Forge Tavern and loved the rustic setting and vintage colonial feel. The cocktails were... inventive and seasonal, albeit a touch on the expensive side. While we did not eat, the full menu for Liberty is available atthe Tavern. A great place to relax and enjoy some music and a meal. Read more
