Reviews for Texas de Brazil - Denver in Concord, CA
When we got there place wasn't even open and it was more like first come first serve, I don't know why they told us we "HAD" to... make a reservation. Is past 4:05pm and we are still waiting outside, then we see this gentleman in a suit, head down coming toopen the doors... he unlocks them, we smile at him and he... walks away? He didn't open the door for us, greet is and welcomedus in?? Seriously?? And it turns out this guy was the Manager! Wow, , I have been welcomed, greeted (with a smile) and havehad the doors open for me by waiters at Olive Garden. Now comes the fun part, our chairs are unacceptable. They are allstained (at least that's what we were told, that it wasn't dirt) with black smudges and the arm rest are all chewed up. Likethese chairs were purchased at a garage sale from a mechanic who breeds hamsters. We head to get our plates and there are acouple of ants ???? on the plates. I tried my best to get them on video. Even after I brought this to their attention, myDaughter still found another ant in her 3rd plate later on. They took their time with the meat. What a disappointment, All themeat that was brought out was very salty. We waited an eternity for the Filet mignon. So we had to actually request it! I kidyou not, I had to request it 3 times, the waitress kept asking if she could take my plate away, but I kept telling her I amstill waiting on the Filet mignon. The cuts were tiny, salty, over spiced with pepper and dry and didn't taste like Filetmignon. I kept requesting a different cook level on the Filet mignon thinking it would improve the flavor but it only gotworse. Only good thing about this place was our waitress and carvers, they were awesome!! $60 per person, better spent thisamount on a dinner for two at Texas Roadhouse. Read more

$60 flat rate, per person. Children included. The have a freshly prepared salad bar and soup station. Brazilian inspired.... Everything is prepared fresh from scratch. Then there are people that walk around with different protein options. Steak, sausage, lamb, etc. No seafood aside from the cold shrimp available at the salad station. No customizing or special ordersavailable unfortunately but unlimited access to salad bar and protein sections. There is also a full service liquor bar anddessert options for addition cost. Read more

I really like this place. The staff here are the best most kind people. It's very very fancy inside but the music seems a bit... weird could be Brazilian but sounds a little too clubby and almost takes away from the beautiful atmosphere. It's incrediblypricey averaging about 60$ a person so it's definitely a special occasion place. Costco sells gift cards to this location andit's essentially a 20% off which is solid. The food is really good and the novelty system of being served such a wide variety ofmeats at your table cut fresh off the spit is always fun. Parking can be miserable which leads me to my unfortunately grimconclusion.it has one fatal flaw and that's that brasas de Brazil is right down the street. Both are good in their own right butbrasas has the pineapple and garlic bread that really pushes over the edge. I think the one thing they have to competes and evenexceeds the brasas de Brazil is the salad bar. The one at Texas de Brazil is far superior in most ways. After being to both Ican say that I'm happy I did both but brasas also has better parking as it's not on the veranda. I hope they can add some thingsto help compete with brasas more directly as I certainly will be coming back. Read more
