Reviews for Silverlake Ramen in Concord, CA
The staff are okay but the food is beyond delectable. The broad noodles are great and the drink selection is perfect. If the... staff were nicer and there was more seating this place would be a hotspot Read more
Food was good but nothing to write home about. A bit pricey for what you get but understandable due to the area it is located.
First of all, their staff is not keeping tables clean. They ask for tips but they hardly take care of their customers. Customers... have to clean the table pretty much themselves. I will never come to this place ever again. It is not worth a price tag theycharge. For such a small place, I would imagine it would be easy to keep it clean and look after. It looks like they have oneperson doing everything in there. I give it 3 STARS for dishes. Read more

I had the Truffle garlic soup it was good but regretted not getting the spicy version. I was left wanting a kick ????. The... service was great and staff is friendly. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that I wish they had indoor seatingbut the weather was good so perfect but I always crave Romen on a rainy day. CHEERS Read more
I've passed by this ramen shop multiple times and finally decided to give it a shot. I went with a couple friends for dinner who... also were craving ramen. I wasn't very impressed but not completely mad at myself for eating here either. I ordered theirclassic bowl of ramen with pork belly, chicken karaage as an appetizer, and a bottle Ito-En unsweetened green tea for mydrink. The chicken karaage tasted good. It didn't wow me by any means, its kind of hard to mess up fried chicken. The saucethat it was paired with added a burst of additional flavor. I also tried a piece of my friend's order of gyoza. It was fried andhad a nice, crisp texture. The flavor turned out to be pretty standard. The ramen was a bit strange to me. After a few sips ofthe broth, my friends and I all thought the same thing: it was very creamy. I found the lack of richness very disappointing. Itfelt very clean and it made me wonder if the broth was made with some kind of milk or other dairy product instead of the typicalsimmering of bones. The taste was fine for a while but got very boring over time. I had to add some of friend's spicy broth tomine to make it interesting but even then, I didnt finish all my broth. The pork belly was a bit tough but flavorful, thesoftboiled egg was creamy and delicious, and the noodles were softer than I would have liked but otherwise fine. Overall, myfriends and I thought the place was okay. We weren't sure if we would come back but were glad to finally have given it a shot. Ipersonally feel like their appetizers steal the spotlight. Delicious, big bowls of ramen. You can choose pork belly, chicken or tofu as your protein. Completely vegetarian option also... available. They also offer rice bowls and appetizers like edamame, curly fries and chicken karaage. The only thing is that thetables are outdoors, so when it?s raining or cold, it?s not a great dining experience, although they do have heaters available. Read more
Dont mind my name.. Okay, Ive had many other ramen places (mainly out in San Jose) and I was craving some ramen after heading... out of DnB. I was a bit skeptical of ordering it because what ramen has spinach and american brown mushroom and not woodears? Iwent for it since it was after 8pm. I ordered the classic ramen with pork and the soup base was absolutely bland, and it alsomakes you extremely thirsty. The meat was dry and most of them contains a lot of fat. Lastly, the noodles were obviouslypackaged and instant. PLEASE AVOID, I WISH I GOT A REFUND. ALSO, I ORDERED A SPRITE AND THAT WAS THE BEST DECISION TO ORDER FROMTHEM LOL Read more
