Reviews for Korea House in Concord, CA
Love the bonchon here!!.. they even have pajun and japchae as part of their little dishes. The food is really great here. It's a... tad on the salty side, but we didn't mind since Korean food in general tends to be a bit bland (i.e., rice, tofu, veggies, orload on spicy). We all got the different kinds of tofu soups and the bim bim baps. The seafood (hot) bimbap was my favorite. Read more

Courteous service. However, sometimes you may run into a staff who doesn't speak much English, which makes communication... difficult. Bulgogi is always my favorite. The Daegi could be better. Prices are reasonable. Read more
I need to start off by mentioning that I do not know a lot about Korean cuisine. We also ended up at this restaurant because the... first 2 we tried had 45-90 minutes wait times, and were more of a destination for a Saturday night out. This place had plenty ofseating available at 8pm in Park 'n Shop and was definitely casual, family dining. I ordered the Dolsot Bibm Bap, and myboyfriend ordered the Bul Gogi. The Dolsot was so f-ing hot for the first 20 minutes I could not eat it! Also, metal chop sticksare heat conductors with burning hot serve ware. Stupid and dangerous. I munched on all of the condiments that came with the BulGogi while I waited for mine to cool. The glass noodles were tasty, the red pasty stuff was really sweet and yummy. I tried thewhite, jello-cube looking things but not sure how that should be incorporated into a dish. Oh well. When I could finally eat myDolsot Bibm Bap the rice was nice and crispy at the bottom, and the whole thing was delicious. I added the kimchi and red pastystuff. I will definitely eat here again when I am hungry and impatient. Read more
