We had just finished a fun escape room with our group and nothing sounded better the really good Italian. It's right in the... heart of Veranda shopping complex which seemed like a cool place to hang out. It was dinnertime and we were promptly seated. We chose outdoor as it was a lovely day. Paired with their Almanac Love hazy IPA, I went with the Delizia which featured theirhomemade fettuccine pasta. This dish was sooo good, I found out how much I like oyster mushrooms! The menu had lots of optionsfrom pizza, salad and even steak. The prices were very fair for some high quality food, and our server was friendly. We'dcertainly enjoy coming again! Read more
What a gem this restaurant is. Really appreciate that they accommodate for those who eat gluten free. I ordered a gluten free... pasta dish which was delicious and pasta cooked perfectly (others struggle with this). The panna cotta was amazing. Also had thepear salad and Brussels sprouts with pancetta. All excellent. Awesome customer service as well. Definitely my new go to spot. Read more
We stopped by Doppio Zero And it was way way better than I had imagined. For starters the bread is fluffy and light and as good... as any French bread you would expect! It comes fresh out of the oven and the oil and balsamic vinegar is served with it. Iordered the fish stew which was loaded up with extra shrimp which were not overcooked, and the clams were done perfectly. Wealso started with a barbecued Mediterranean squid which was done perfectly and had a fresh delicious taste. Cozy Italian restaurant with very friendly servers. The Branzino (grilled sea bass) is excellent. If I am going to pay 20... dollars for a pasta with some meat, I might as well pay 10 dollars more for the whole fish. I got pasta anyway, and a pizza aswell. The ginger ale and lemonade got free refills. The Cabernet is smooth. Overall a good experience. Parking in theweekend can be challenging. Read more
Visited this place today with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. It's a very lovely restaurant with great customer... service. We ordered the truffle fries and fried calamari as appetizers and they were very yummy. We got the mango mojitos fordrinks and they were amazing. As for the pizza we ordered the Pulcinella (vegetarian) and La Carne (meat) they both had a veryrich flavor, however, the dough texture was inconsistent in both our pizzas. One was very nice and firm but the other one wassoggy and we had a hard time getting a slice from the serving tray to our own plate. Nonetheless we enjoyed our food! Great experience. Host helped us get patio seating with heaters. Plenty seating indoors and outdoors. Lovely cocktails.. Italian... margarita and Mango Mojito. Our first time visiting here. Our sons said the raviolis and lasagna were good, so we decided to give it a try. We did not have... reservations and it was packed. We did however opt to sit at the bar. The bartender Levi made our night. Despite non stop drinkfulfillment, he answered all of our questions, and had a great lesson in mixology. He's super knowledgeable and a fantasticserver too! He never stopped moving! Now about the food. Do get the truffle fries. Skinny, crispy, and delightful fries! Lipsmacking good! My husband had the raviolis which were yummy. I had the special, cannelloni with porcini mushrooms in a creamsauce. Delicious and not too heavy and you definitely can taste the mushrooms; they do not get lost in the cream. We will beback for more! Read more
