As a local wedding vendor I always appreciate experiencing the best of our local venues and being able to recommend local... businesses to clients. 40 Knots puts a lot of care and passion into their wines and into creating a beautiful venue full ofintentional details. I enjoyed a lovely tasting experience with friends on the spacious outdoor patio with Christine, who wasvery knowledgeable and informative. We arrived at almost closing on our bikes and even so the staff were very accommodating, helping us get situated and what we... needed. It was a Thursday so we even got to enjoy some live music! Excellent wine and charcuterie picnic too. Read more
We had an awesome experience working with this venue. We originally booked in January of 2021, while COVID was making things... chaotic still, so I feel like they've gotten even better to work with over time. They definitely know how to throw a greatwedding, and the drinks were amazing! Read more

There is an incredible welcome every time you visit - be it for wine club, bookclub, yoga,... special classes, Wine Wednesday ... the experience is the same - exceptional! Our son and daughter-in-law just got married at 40 knots June 2022! The most beautiful venue I have seen. About 120 guests came... from Edmonton, Australia, Texas, just some of the places! All I heard from everyone was how lovely the venue was and howaccommodating Dawn and her staff were. Also, they create the most delicious wine! We had an unexpected treat when we diverted from the planned day to drop by 40 Knots to check it out. The building promises a... modern experience. And they delivered. Great outdoor seating, super helpful team members and some pretty good wines. Coolclimate growing isn't easy stuff and most palates are learning about this category. We enjoyed the unique tasting flightpresentation as well as the brand's sense of humour about wine as entertainment. Highly recommended if you are into wine and inthe area... it may not be your usual flavour or typical expression but it's fun, it's fresh and it's well managed. Read more
Beautiful winery for spending a holiday afternoon at. The wine flights are a great way to get a taste of the different available... wines and the picnic menu pairs perfectly. Highly recommend adding 40 Knots to your Comox Valley “must visit” list. Read more
