The clerk charged me for two Marboro Red cigarettes packs fictitious. After I reviewed my receipt I noticed the clerk charged... me. Told the clerk to check the cameras. AVOID!!!!! The man that works the counter is rude and disrespectful 100% of the time. I got overcharged, went back in and he... yelled at me like a kindergartner! Review based mostly off of the new cashier, Ben, who was there during the 9pm shift 09/24/19. Ran over to get a few things and... heard Ben greeting every customer, saw him giving every one a smile, recommending the best types of everything, and beingengaging. We had a quick but entertaining conversation about student loans--cuz that's always prime ice breaker material. Apartfrom a very specific type of peanut butter, this place has always had what I needed in a pinch, never had a bad experienceinside though can't speak for the gas quality because I haven't filled up there in well over 6 years. I'm not incredibly socialso I don't particularly care one way or another if the cashiers don't interact with me but when one goes out of their way to befriendly, I do take notice, so props, Ben. I have had so many bad experiences here I won't be back. No hot food is ever ready except for a few crusty looking hotdogs and... taquitos. Some of the staff can barely understand what you are saying to them (I'm fine understanding their accent though).While I don't care if you can speak English or not, but maybe you shouldn't get work in a position where understanding it isintegral to performing your job. This problem has caused a line to form on more than one occasion. I also got a propane cylinderfrom here and it was the worst decision I've ever made. The last 2 cylinders have leaked, and now when I brought it back for mydeposit they said they would have to call the manager and he said no. He didn't want to talk to me to see if maybe the messagewas relayed to him incorrectly ,he just said no. I always go to a 7-11 when I need gas and usually pick up a snack... Never fromthis one again. These people are thieves! Watch your statements for double charges. I caught the clerk double charging and the manager basically... said, "oh well, nothing we can do about it." Very upset... Went in to get an iced coffee on July 4th both my husband and I. Right now they have a promotion of their own... brand "Cold brew coffee" $.99 ANY SIZE !!! We had to wait for the clerk to restock the coffee which we had no problem as wewanted to have that coffee. Both of us chose a large. However once up at the register the clerk charged us $2.50 FOR EACH. Iexplained the sign said .99 cents. He said no that only was for small and medium. I said "no I'm pretty sure it's all .99 centsfor any size." We were in a hurry as it was having waited for the clerk to restock not to mention there now was about 5 peoplein line. I paid the $5.16 . I then went back to the coffee area and reread the sign. ALL SIZES .99 CENTS!!! As i walked out isaid very loudly "It says ALL SIZES! YOU JUST GOT EXTRA MONEY OUT OF ME! Yes I could have stayed and got my change, yes therewere other options however we were late at this point. So from now on just know 7-11 extorts money and argues with customers.Wont be returning and look forward to warning others. Read more
