Best pizza in town! The cheese is high quality. It bubbles up and browns in the oven and makes it a bit crispy. I'm usually a... person who likes lots of toppings, but the cheese is so good that a simple pepperoni pizza is usually what I order. The owner ispassionate about the cheese quality. Like to support local restaurants so we checked out Slice of Pie in 2020. It is awesome! No more chain pizza for us. Deep dish... or thin crust are both excellent. Lots of cheese! Salads are very fresh. Lasagna is good too! Read more

This Place is Amazing!!! Sam the owner is so friendly and accommodating. The food is freshly made and from scratch. The pizzas... are no Joke. Service is prompt and friendly. The restaurant is clean. Wow. The deep dish pizza was incredible, not over sauced or seasoned, good solid crunch, does not flop over when picked up, and... the flavor rivals Chicago deep dishes like ginos east. I have not had a pizza this good in 20 years. Prices are amazingly low.Spent 16 on a large deep dish and I was only able to eat two peices before being full and I am 6 foot 250 pounds and can usuallyeat a full pizza like pizza hut or papa John's on my own. Will be a regular from this day on. Highest recommendation I can give. Read more

I ordered a deep dish three meat pizza with extra cheese at 3 PM today. I was told it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes which... is typical. So while I was driving my granddaughter called me and asked me to order food for her also which was a thin crustpepperoni pizza with extra cheese. When I order five minutes later they told me that the small pizza wouldn?t be ready for 45minutes. Saying that they had a big order of 20 pizzas. I said are you kidding me they said no. Well then they hung up on notonce but twice. I had decided that since the other pizza was going to take so long that I would cancel that order the smallpizza. When I got to the store I asked the cashier (which she looked like she was in a panic) to speak to the manager. She wentback and got the manager. I said I want to file a complaint and it was not about the small pizza. The problem was I got hung upon twice. He seem to not care one bit! He was too worried about getting out 20 pizzas instead of treating his customer withrespect by listening to their complaint fully. I am not gonna say anything about the food not being any good because I would belying. But however I told him that I would not be returning that he lost a loyal customer. Because he was too worried aboutearning a dollar instead of listening to his customer. he did offer to make it right my next visit but there will not be in nextvisit. He should?ve took care of his customer first. And try to listen to a legitimate complaint. Companies have forgotten howmuch customer service means. I chose to visit this establishment because of the great food. But customer service (the lack of)has shown me that I don?t care how good Their food is, customer service is paramount in a business. Because of their lack ofcustomer service I have chosen never to go there again. Instead of telling people to visit his establishment I will tell them tostay away! I would rather have bad food and excellent customer service skills any day! Read more
