Update: aside from good service, the food is just terrible. Overly greasy, no flavor, burnt, and have replaced brown sugar with... a fake powdered substitute. Save your $$$ go elsewhere. Also, was given an old menu, and when the bill arrived, the price wasdifferent. After telling the waitress, she said they'd run out of new menu's with updated prices. However, she adjusted it.Definitely recommend double checking your bill with menu. Old menus should be recycled out, as the prices reflects what acustomer pays. --- The colwood Denny's has gone so far down its gross. Booths are cracking and dirty. Menu doesn't have much forgrain/gluten free. It has three salads. One waitress was expected to look after 7 tables all by herself, and she spread herselfthin, which resulted in a frazzled bad attitude. Definitely needs another waiter/ress to help. Because of this, it was extremelyslow service. Nachos hardly have any toppings. Cutlery was dirty. Definitely needing an upgrade/rejuvenation. Read more
Wow - what an experience! I went to Dennys and ordered the 13 oz. T-Bone steak with a side of sweet petite corn and red skin... mashed potatoes. The food and service was amazing. I had hardly even started colouring before the food arrived, it was so fast!The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and it was a great portion size. After the meal, I tried both cheesecakes themenu has to offer... Wow!! They were delicious, and for a great price. The overall experience was spectacular, I felt at homethe entire time, and will definitely be returning soon. Read more

Great food. Service was great until while we were in the middle of eating the server felt the need to give us the bill without... asking us if we wanted anything else. Then the server came to the till to collect payment and there was someone in front of uswaiting to pay theirs and she tried to push her aside to get us to pay. Other than that all was good. Read more
The food was good and service was very good. My waitress arrived shortly after I was seated, took my order, and delivered my... food quickly. She was very friendly and serviced the 10 tables in the section quickly. I was almost out of breath watching herhead back and forth from the kitchen. Well done and good work, I will be back. If I could leave less stars I would. One meal at our table was edible. One of them was raw. The waitress actually took a knife... and poked at the egg when we mentioned it. And promptly picked up the plate and left. The other plates were so over done theydidn't even resemble food anymore. Service was horrible. Restaurant was dirty. People were actually just turning around andwalking out. Every time I go there it is worse and worse. This, however will be the last time. We had company in town that wasso excited to go to a Denny's, but they won't go back either. Read more
This was my first time visiting Denny?s in Canada, and I had a great time with my bf. The service was nice, and I love hash... browns. We were starving so we ordered steak and deep fried pork, but I think that was not a good idea to order these on afamous breakfast restaurant lol. Will definitely come back again and try other dishes! Read more
