Hound Song Brewing Company in downtown Columbus, Texas is a great place to go for a quick stop or a long visit with family and... friends. Not only is their beer incredibly fresh and delicious but their pub grub is next level. They offer a wide range ofbrews for all along with special offerings seasonally including seltzers. If you've got someone in your group who isn't a beerdrinker, they have various wines, soft drinks and even little juice boxes for the kiddos. Their food menu is great for theentire family complete with appetizers, full meal deals and a kids menu. This place is even great for those who just want agreat meal. They are always adding things to their menu for daily specials or on a long term basis. If it's too hot or toocold to sit outside on their covered patio, no worries. This is a wonderful, little brewery in Columbus, Texas. We had 2 of their brews, a lager and a Belgian style ale and they were... both amazing. There are a few menu items. The Hot Chicken Sammy was a delicious hot honey chicken sandwich. They are dog andfamily friendly. Check their website for upcoming events from local artists to comedy acts. No matter the season, the day, or the temp you will always be greeted with a smile. The selection of drinks and foods is... amazing. There is something for anyone. Lovely place to stop for a beer. Was headed to Round Rock from Houston and decided to check it out. Absolutely worth getting off... the the interstate. All five beers I sampled we're great with my favorites being Burnin' Daylight and Pecan Killa. Stopped byaround 3:30 on a Friday afternoon and a nice crowd. Very family friendly! Read more
We came expecting to have a beer, maybe an appetizer, and then be on our merry way. However, we were pleasantly surprised by a... fantastic beer selection and ended up sharing a flight and then having a full beer each with chips and beer queso and pretzelbites too. Weather was nice, so we sat on the patio. 10 month old and 2 year old came along and everybody had a great time! I'ma fan of darker, stronger beers with complex flavor profiles and I was not disappointed. We wish we lived closer, because we'dlove to come more often! Beer was great, food was great, service was great, atmosphere was great. Would love to come again. Read more
