The ladies were extremely nice and the tastings were VERY generous. We did 5 tastings each & let?s just say we had a good... feeling on the way to the next winery LOL! We tried the sweet wines and to be completely honest we were not impressed with anyof them. Then we tried the cake but they were out of the blackberry so we got 2 of the chocolate and that was fantastic. Theother one we both took one bite of and had a hard time swallowing that. Read more
My wife and I tried the winery this past Friday. I have to say we were absolutely blown away by the atmosphere, the kind staff... and the wine itself. We really enjoyed how the staff took the time to explain the details about each wine as well as making usfeel as if we were the only people there. The live music was fantastic. The entire crowd participated in singing the songsalong with the musician. If you have not been before, be sure to get to Wyandotte Winery and give it a shot. You will be gladyou did. This place is a hidden gem right in Columbus's neighborhood. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the owners are very... personable and NOT snobby. When picking out our wine I mentioned during the summer I like rohn rose and I was presented withlovely rose made from Delaware grapes. Definitely a nice place for a date, a hang out or just a place to try in central Ohio. Read more
Wine was actually very terrible. For reference boyfriend and I are two different tastes. I love dry he loves sweet, there was... not one wine here that was worth a penny. We even poured some out in their sink, and they weren?t happy about it. Not veryinformative or helpful. We would not recommend coming here. Not friendly at all. Just pour and taste. Most of the wines weremusky, bland or tasted like feet. Not that I know what feet taste like, but use your imagination. Table wines at best that youtolerate. Read more
We had high hopes to enjoy some wine here but quickly left. The instructions about not being able to taste outside were... confusing. My group all interpreted the initial information as someone would be with us at our table when we were told to take aseat. My guess is that info was for inside seating only but was not cleared up until after returning inside. Apparently, youcan bring a bottle or glass outside but can't do your tasting there. Upon clarification, I ordered 2 tastes and a slushy. I wasimmediately told I couldn't take the tastings with me by another staff person/owner (I don't know). It all seemed rude after wecleared things up mere seconds before. Another couple attempted to warn us about some of the issues but we were too obliviousto catch on until it was too late. This couple had a Point Of Sale issue at the end of their visit which seems to be an ongoingproblem going back nearly a year, according to other reviews. We weren't huge fans of the wine but to each their own and Iwon't discredit them here. After driving 30 minutes to get there and with 40 minute to get back home I must say there are muchbetter places, service and atmosphere just outside the Columbus area. Read more
Wyandotte Winery is a great place after a long week. The staff is friendly, I love their large patio outback and Sangria is the... perfect amount of sweet and citrus. Friday nights they have a food truck and live entertainment. Read more
First timers stopping by after a sporting event. We love Rockside Winery in Lancaster and wanted to stop by to see what... Wyandotte has to offer. Super friendly and helpful staff. They just came out with their Iced Apricot dessert wine. AMAZING! Hadto bring several bottles home. Worth the trip. We are sold. ???? Read more
