Every time I'm here the place gets better. They did another round of stage improvements and it was great to play. Great green... room area too. Drink service was fast. Unfortunately I missed the kitchen so I didn't get a chance to see if they had any goodgluten free options. I'll check it out next time. Read more
Oooooh my goodness where do I start? I had the surf and turf taco which was so good. Very fresh ingredients and disappeared... quickly it was so tasty. Then let's talk about the corn ...my husband and I have never had anything like it. The kernels justfall off of the cob when you bite into it. The flavors that surround it kick your tastebuds into high gear. I've NEVER eaten acorn cob with such enthusiasm, not wanting to leave one kernel on it. The tavern itself is very nice. The entertainment is fantastic. Went to see Saxsquatch last night and had a blast. The food was... very good and the staff was excellent. Woodlands tavern is a great place to see bands, And I think for a certain crowd it's a pretty cool bar also. It's a bit noisy... and rambunctious for me to go and have a drink, but I've only been there on nights when there have been bands, so maybe it'smuch more chill when there aren't. But like I said, I love going to see live music there, they have a small stage in the frontroom and then a bigger one in their back room and have lots of great local bands. Bartenders also do a great job considering howdeep the lines get on some nights. Read more
Great tavern food, great live music venue. It's pretty busy when a band is playing and you have to wait in line to order food,... then stand around in a corner waiting for it to be put on a small tray outside the kitchen door as there was no table service. Abigger wait staff would have earned 5 stars. Still, it was good, food and drinks were good so I'll definitely be back. Read more
