The customer service here is great but the espresso is not good. The espresso tasted watery and bitter. The milk was way over... frothed and bubbly not creamy. I pause to take a moment out of my day in reverence for the sandwich I just consumed. My journey to this sandwich began 12 to 16... months ago when I first tried Winton's chicken and waffles. Skeptical of the chicken and waffles combo, my world was turnedupside down when I had to accept the hidden glory of Fried Chicken, Waffles, and Bacon. However, today, I ventured from thesafe, warm embrace of the Chicken and Waffles--a 9 out of 10 in my book--to try the "Baron Bacon Sandwich." At first glance, thesandwich looked incredible, adorned with chopped bacon, red onion, lettuce, and a perfectly cooked egg. The first bite and thecrunch of the waffle were exquisite. Just when you think the sandwich has peaked, a moment passes, and the sweetness of thewaffle shines through like the sun piercing the clouds. Bravo Winston's Coffee & Waffles. Bravo. Read more
The vegan/gluten-free waffle is a nice option to have on the menu, but seems poorly paired with toppings. Really, the only... option to order without significant modifications is the ?Winston? with maple syrup and the butter left out. Thevegan/gluten-free waffle itself is a bit sour and chewy, with no discernible sweetness. If you?re looking for a vegan orgluten-free option, this may disappoint. Read more
This place is pretty good. Fun and creative take on waffles. Taste pretty good too. I'll probably be back to try some of the... other types of waffles. Wait wasn't too bad either which was nice. The waffles were crispy and fluffy. I wouldn't say the mostincredible thing I've had but they were pretty good. Reminded me of a japanese waffle store I went to once in Japan. Felt safetoo. This place is soo cute! So perfect and so delicious. Great service and wonderful food. I got the Empire with bacon and my... husband got The Southampton, which is their version of chicken and waffles. I also got the chai latte with almond milk.
