Heading from S. Jersey/NE Philadelphia to Indianapolis for a belated Thanksgiving, this is where we had dinner on the road.... Amazing team, our server Katy was spectacular. Food was typically comfort WH meals. SO impressed by the personal, warm andfriendly service Katy provided while sacrificing her Thanksgiving to work and take care of us. Both of our meals were preparedperfectly and tasted great. I've been to dozens of Waffle House restaurants over the years, this experience stood out. Highlyrecommended! Read more

Normally thing go OK here. Today no one had a clue. After 10 minutes to get water and additional 5 more to take the order. We... waited. Look they are all over there talking. So, waitress come here. Is there a problem! There is no food on the grill,every one else is eating, and you are talking. Replied I will do it soon? 15 more minutes...we don't have bread, we will putit on toast for you?! Order still not down...why did you not tell me you were out 20 minutes back. Let's go, but why, I am newshe said? Go back to friends over there. Read more

Waffle house is my best friend and my go to place. We went there Wednesday September 21st. Our server, didn't catch his name... was the BEST we have ever had. We have had great service there too. His work ethic was what EVERYONE should follow. I tried torecruit him to where I am employed. He was originally hired as a grill cook. Definitely 3 out of 5. Mine and my son's food was good. My husband's burger tasted like rubber. The waitress Tonya, she had red... hair, told us while ordering the burger " oh we're out of buns but I can put Texas toast on it instead" so we were okay withthat because we thought it would be the same price. Spoiler alert, it wasn't. We wait for the food, they forget my eggs andgritts, so we had to wait another 10 minutes for that. Then the bill comes and we find out that we've been charged for acompletely different meal because she neglected to tell us that getting the Texas toast bread on my husband's sandwich, becauseTHEY didn't have any regular buns, would make it so we were paying for a $12 meal instead of $9 meal. And if I'm not mistakenthey charged me $8s for 2 sunny side up eggs. Didn't offer us refills, didn't check on us. When she dropped off the food, sheliterally acted like we didn't exist. We had to flag down another server to get some boxes. He is the only reason I'm givingthis place a 3 out of 5. And mine and my son's food was pretty good except for the bacon, which you can see down below, wasburnt to a crisp. Which wouldn't be a problem at all, if I had asked for well done bacon. I'm pretty disappointed. My family andI were excited to go out to eat, since we don't do it very often. Now, do I expect perfection? Of course not. Everyone is humanand makes mistakes. I just wish that we had felt comfortable enough to say " hey can we get this fixed?" But how can we feelcomfortable if you didn't even act like we existed after we ordered? The ONLY reason I knew our servers name was because someoneelse said it and I double checked her name tag. The young kid that checked us out and got our boxes, was the only one who spoketo us like we existed and was very polite and professional. Read more
It's Waffle House, what more needs to be said? They are getting a bit pricy for the size and quality of their menu items and of... course everything needs to be wiped down. Take a look at my $7.56 patty melt. Read more
