Getting seated at first was quite complicated. There was a sign in the front stating "wait to be assisted." After being seated... outside was served by not only one, but two different servers. Fairly quick service but they were packed for brunch thisSaturday. Food was very good though! Highly recommend the salmon Benedict. The other dish was the black bean patties and poachedegg. The food here was great and the fruit bowl was not just cantaloupe and melon, which is a rare and beautiful find. I do feel it... was a touch on the pricier side and there was no AC making it a bit difficult to eat on the hot day we went. But certainly checkit out on a day it isn't a thousand degrees and muggy, and I bet it's super nice in there! Cool atmosphere to. Read more
One street back behind the main road, so it's a little ducked off. Which made it perfect to sit outside without the heavy flow... of traffic. I ordered the Callah French toast and the following sides: roasted potatoes with garlic and rosemary, two scrambledeggs, breakfast sausage. Although the flavor was the prices were a little high. Everything is all a la carte so I ended uppaying about $27 for for breakfast/brunch which is on the high side. It would be nice for some of the main breakfast items tocome with a least 1 side. I usually don't get any fruit on top of my breakfast food, but those caramelized bananas wereeverything! Everything! It added a great flavor to the front toast. This is a great place to grab breakfast any day of the week. They have a pretty solid fixed menu along with changing menu items,... pastries, etc. From my breakfast experience: The steak was flavorful, juicy, and had a nice sear; potatoes were pillowy soft andhad great flavor. The smoked salmon was also extremely tasty. There's nothing complex, but everything was interesting enough forme to say it was all excellent - the definition of "simple, but excellent." I wouldn't ask for anything differently from thosebreakfast dishes. The only lunch option I've tried was the fish tacos. The tilapia was pretty bland, but the garnishes addedsome punch to it. all the fish needed was a little salt and it'd be a very good dish. The veggie burrito is so good! They have the perfect balance of ingredients in the burrito. Also the roasted rosemary potatoes... complimented the burrito well. The fries were crispy and tasty. My girlfriend really enjoyed her Salad as well. Read more
Recently visited Tasi Cafe on Thursday 12/16/2021. Great atmosphere very clean establishment. There was no wait to be seated.... Very attentive came to our table a few times to see if we needed anything. Food was good and drinks were good as well. Irecommend this establishment for a unique brunch cafe atmosphere.They have outdoor seating with a heated tent very cute. Thisis a great small gem for brunch. We got very lucky when we visited this location because we were able to grab a seat right away. Unfortunately, that was the... highlight of the meal. My husband and I were visiting from Chicago and and expected way more from the $65 bill. We ordered theveggie wrap, blueberry pancakes and the bagel sandwich. The wrap was soggy, the eggs were over cooked and it lacked flavoroverall. The pancake batter was overworked which resulted in gummy pancakes and the bagel sandwich was lackluster for the price.It?s not worth the price, the wait (if there is one) or the search for street parking.
