Reviews for Riziki Swahili Grill in Columbus, OH
First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. Their dishes are packed with flavor and with genegerous portions, some... of the dishes are definitely shareable. Staff is very friendly and although seating is a bit tight they were able to accomodateour group of 12+. Highly recommend the zanzibar special if you like goat meat (p.s- no meaty smell). I can't wait to go back. Read more

Overall, I think this place has a very interesting menu that stands out among the other local African restaurants in Columbus.... However, I thought the flavors were very reserved for African cuisine and there surprisngly wasn't any heat. Everything wasquality: beef curry had a great consistency, chapati was rich and tasty, snapper was cooked very well, kale had a subtle butpretty excellent flavor. I just didn't get any strong flavors. The coconut cream on the fish had a very subtle flavor and ugaliis a neutral dish, so the plate was just waiting for something to pop. As critical as I might sound, Riziki serves good foodnonetheless. Just don't expect to be punched in the mouth with flavor. Read more

An amazing mix of Indian and African fare. We had sambusa, chapati beef curry and Zanzibar special with chapati. The sambusa... are eggroll thin, crispy and pipping hot. Filled with a savory ground beef that is delicious and impressive. The Zanzibar goatis crispy, chewy caked in spices cumin, pepper, that cut through the crispy laminated buttery chapati. A must have if youvisit. Chapati beef curry was a fantastic mix of tomato beef akin to Shanghai style staple. Hosts were very amicable andavailable. Enough space for 5-6 parties of 3-4. Groups larger than 7 would be a bit cramped. Read more
