Amazing Food and a North Market Staple for years... My wife picks up fresh pasta and multiple sauces every time she goes to the... market. My son and I always have a slice of pizza every trip. I ordered a pasta meal at this location and I realized, after I had walked back to work, that they gave me the wrong food. Not... only did they give me the wrong food, but they gave me an Alfredo pasta dish, which I am allergic too. I called the restaurantand the lady "seemed" very apologetic. I explained to her that I received the wrong food and that I can't eat it because ofdietary restrictions. She offered to refund or give me a credit, but as she was trying to process it, the system wasn't loadingand she said it would be easier for her to remake the food and bring it to me, since my office was less than a 5 minute walk tothe north market location. I was so appreciative of the gesture. I gave her my office location as well as my phone number andshe said she would call me when she was out front with my food. Well, guess what? She NEVER called me. I waited over an hour fora lunch that was promised to me. Honestly, I feel completely fooled. I think she didn't want to go to the hassle of refunding myfood, so she made a FALSE promise to deliver me the correct meal to essentially shut me up. Read more
Carolyn put together an amazing dinner for the teachers and staff at Liberty Middle School, and she even accommodated us when we... had to switch to a grab and go dinner at the last minute. She knew exactly how much to make to feed everyone without having toomuch or not enough, and she even stayed to help serve and clean up. Carolyn was wonderful in selection of pastas and sauces and salads for our catered Christmas Party. I knew the food would be... good, but it all was the hit! Pastaria delivered Pesto Fuscilli, Tomato Basil and A mushroom cream sauce pasta, Deluxe Greenssalad, a crazy good Antipasta/charcuterie platter, bread, crostini, and all the fixings. Pastaria was on time/ early fordelivery, more than fairly priced to feed 40 people, easy to work with! Food was Fabulous and I would recommend to anyone foreasy catering! I have gone to Pastaria for years and have forgotten to write a review. I went today and picked up the Spinach and Mushroom... Lasagna. It was truly spectacular. Along side, I grabbed a green salad with home made balsamic vinaigrette. The lasagna wasloaded with everything. Gobs of spinach, mushrooms and ricotta cheese. It was covered in their light marinara and plenty ofparmesan cheese. They always include crusty/chewy bread and herb butter. It was perfectly seasoned...the pasta, sauces and thespinach and mushrooms were cooked perfectly before assembly. Their salad was made with fresh, crispy greens and the balsamicvinaigrette was sweet, tangy and creamy. I would have been happy just eating that for lunch. The owner is always working at oneof his stores in the market, be it Pastaria or Sarefino's Pizza. (I'll be doing a review on Sarefino's too, it's the best pizzain Columbus.) He is friendly and seems very customer focused. From the quality of his products, he loves what he's doing. Goto Pastaria, eat any of the 6 pastas, 9 sauces and grab some tiramisu. Some friends and I stopped at the market today. My boyfriend and I had stopped at your kiosk to order some food, there was a... blonde lady working today, she seemed to be speaking on the phone through her earbuds. Boyfriend ordered first, she had adisgusting attitude towards him, she practically threw his bottled drink at him and snatched his money out of his hands when hewas paying. When it was my turn to order, she walked away from me, I had started to ask for the lasagna, before I could finishmy sentence, she rudely interrupted me and proceeded to loudly name off everything she was out of. Her mannerisms were godawful, I was absolutely disgusted at the fact she feels comfortable talking to random people that way. As a customer serviceworker myself, I never ever treat anyone with such disrespect unwarranted. Zero stars. You need better employees. Read more
