Pizza itself was fine I guess. But when I got there my order was just missing. The orders before mine were there, and the ones... after, just not mine. So I'm standing at the register and the woman I'm assuming was the manager was just yelling at/ blamingall of the young kids who were working in the kitchen. Yelling about how they were driving her crazy and it's always somethingand what not. I can only imagine how she speaks to them when customers aren't in the store. The kids were all silent, like theywere afraid to speak, so I'm guessing she treats them this way regularly. So dude goes to remake my pizza. Mind you, at nopoint did this woman say hey, I'm sorry I'm not sure what happened we will have to remake it. I only know because of herconversations with the other employees. She never even acknowledged me or addressed me except to tell me much it was eventhough I had already paid for it. So I waited another 15ish minutes just for it to not have been made right but honestly Ithink the kid was just so stressed out he couldn't focus. I wouldn't go back just on principal because I don't frequentestablishments where 1, the person who's supposed to be helping you can't even be bothered to speak to or acknowledge you and 2,who treat their non management employees the way this woman did. Never again. After an hour I called in to find out what was going on because the tracker site hadn?t updated, and the poor girl... said she was working alone with only 1 driver and she hadn?t even started making my pizza yet. I get that staffing has been anissue for a lot of places but where are the other managers? Where is the support for corporate? Why would they leave this oneemployee swamped like this with no support and upset customers? The GM and RGM of this location should be fired immediately,and if I was that employee I?d walk out right now and leave the place to its fate. Now I have to keep an eye out to make sure Iget my money back as well, what should be a simple process turned into a hassle, so do yourself a favor and order elsewhere Read more
So normally I get pretty decent service from this papa johns but the experience tonight was disappointing enough for me to write... this review. First off I ordered online and had a little mess up. Had my order as carry out instead of delivery. That was myfault obviously so I called them and the lady on the phone that I spoke to said no problem I?ll switch it to delivery. Great.Perfect. Well then I wait for 2 hours only to call and have them tell me it?s sitting there as a carry out order. Then the ladyI talked to on the phone this time tells me ?well idk who you talked to but it wasn?t me? I said that yea I talked to you guysbecause I called back the same number I called the first time. It was in my recent call list. She said no it wasn?t us. Beingcalled a liar after I?ve been sitting here hungry waiting on my food isn?t really my idea of how I wanted to spend my night.Honestly I love papa johns pizza but I doubt if I?ll be dealing with them again. If it were possible to give negative stars our review would have been -5. this location is by far the worst pizza shop in... Columbus Ohio. The management and franchise owner couldnt care less about customer service or quality. As i write this i havebeen waiting for 2hrs 40min for an order that was stated to be 60min. ADDITIONALLY, i have been on hold with the W. 5th Avestore, (where my order went to) for over 1 hour. Yes 1 hour without exaggerating. IF YOUR HUNGRY DO NOT ORDER PAPA JOHN'SESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE TO GET IT FROM THE W 5TH AVE SHOP IN COLUMBUS OHIO. Read more
Ordered here 5 times over past year. Each time; fresh, piping hot tasty pizza, lot of toppings, good quality and exactly what I... ordered within 20 minutes left at my door. Never had an issue. It is Papa John's, so not the most gourmet pizza you ever had,but for a chain pizza, my go-to in the area. Most consistent, and reliable of the ones I tried so far. Ive worked here, the Manager Brian - is very sexist, flirts with female employees, tries to steal employees from neighboring... businesses, lacks in training skills, and lack of empathy for those with health concerns. I was homeless at the time being andwas grateful for my job but soon developed seizures and other health issues to which others were trying to help, and he didntcall 911, or care, I soon left do to this fact, along with other employees. he spends most of his time smoking in his car, or onhis phone/computer. I do not suggest working here or going here for good customer support or a friendly face.. i also whileworking here found Roaches, and other bugs, to which i cleaned up - that he replied with "its probably from the Chineserestaurant next door, they always have something because they are foreign" Read more
Impressive customer service, very clean and nice looking facility. Staff was fast, efficient, and friendly. Actually gave me... extra garlic dipping sauce and peppers for free and told me that it was courtesy of them. I greatly appreciated that gesture. Myorder was ready exactly when they said it would be! I ordered at work and the papa had my back quickly. The driver called me on arrival and the za was hot and tasted great!
