I came into this bakery because my principal gave us coupons for teacher's appreciation week from this location. Every teacher... got two coupons each. I walked up to the counter and presented the coupons for two free cupcakes on June 30. This white ladysnapped my head off in an accusatory fashion as if I stole the coupons. She asked me where did I get the coupons and I saidColumbus City School District and she said they had no affiliations with CCS and she didn't understand how I got these coupons!She snatched them from me, handed me the cakes, and she ripped up the coupons before me as if I would use them again. I guessshe is the franchisee of this store---I guess? Let me say this, who do you think you are to speak down to me, a black woman inher 50s who came to just simply cash in on what was given to me? Why would you do such a thing over flour, eggs, and sugar? I'ma great baker myself and didn't need to steal your establishment! The way you spoke to me I wouldn't speak to an animal like youspoke to me. First and foremost, someone or an organization had to pay for those coupons. They weren't free. How dare you? Iwill never visit another "Nothing But Cakes" establishment ever again because I don't have to. I am also going to contact theNational Office. Lady, you were foaming at the mouth for no reason whatsoever besides the fact that I was black. Wow! Talk about amazing! Prepare to wow your taste buds. What a unique style and flavor cake. This cake has fluffy cream cheese... icing in moderation therefore it is not spread entirely on the top of the cake ( which may I add is a perfect choice.) They alsohave very unique flavors such as my favorite ( white chocolate raspberry and classic vanilla.) and let?s say your just having asmall craving for a bite but don?t want to purchase an entire cake?. You can get the mini single sized one. Personalize withmini signs that say Happy Bday all the way down to Happy Anniversary, or I love you! Not something you can get an entire Hulkhead printed on so don?t go looking for a child?s birthday unless your child doesn?t care about appearance and can trulyappreciate some good flavor. Wasn't impressed with service. I ordered on line so that I could pick up the order and not have to wait. I was even late by 30... minutes and it still wasn't ready, took forever to get ready and didn't get the tags for the cakes I ordered. No one greeted mewhen I came in, no smiles, nothing. I would recommend looking at the menu online ahead of time if you?ve never been here. I stopped in for my first time visit on my... birthday. We got the mini cakes for a birthday celebration and these were so good. They were delicate, soft, and weren't dry at all. The... icing was amazing and light and just enough. We got a variety of cakes and they were all made well. We really like the cakes,but they were a bit pricey and more expensive than basic cupcakes. Their shapes are cute and unique! Read more
One of the coolest bakeries in columbus. They have standard sized cakes in 8 and 10 inch but in different flavors like marble,... confetti, red velvet and so on. I bought the cake from their website and its a straightforward process to get one with simpleselection but amazing taste of the cakes. It is worth a try in terms of value for money and for how it looks and tastes. I gotthe pecan praline cake for someone?s birthday and it was outright amazing. Delicious bunt cakes, Had to buy a dozen of the tinis so we could try all the flavors since it was our first visit. Soo yummy... and the associates were so nice. Can't wait to visit again. Read more
