Very good food. I did get a broken piece of wooden spoon in my food once, but sometimes accidents like this happens. Rather... than that everything is been great. The web states they are open at 10a, but their buffet opens at 11a. Read more
Came for the lunch buffet & everything was hot, fresh & delicious! Highly recommend putting the little cake balls in the rice... pudding for a dessert. Also don't forget to get some tea! Best milky tea I've ever had! Read more
The Alu Gobi Mutter had great flavor but it was very oily. The food had a layer of oil sitting on top when I opened it. I wanted... to enjoy it, but I just couldn’t seeing how much oil was in the sauce. I hope the company makes changes to their recipe. Read more
In general, it was very good. The food was great by normal standards, though compared to some of the amazing Indian restaurants... in Columbus it was slightly underwhelming. Big bonus for being one of the only restaurants with a buffet currently open. Ifyou're in a hurry and want Indian food, it's not a bad option, though if you have the time I'd go to a higher quality sit downIndian restaurant. Read more
I went to New Taj Mahal for having Indian food in dinner but was disappointed due to their food quality. I ordered goat biryani... and made it a meal by adding rice pudding. Raita (yogurt preparation) comes with biryani. Also, ordered veg samosa, lamb curryand gulabjamun. The goat meat in biryani was undercooked, most of the meat pieces were rubbery. Too much oil, spices were addedto biryani and seemed to be mixture of goat meat curry mixed with rice. Although I have not found authentic biryani in Columbusor Cleveland yet!! Most restaurants I have visited serve rice mixed with (chicken/goat/lamb/beef) meat and lots of wrongcombinations of spices and called 'biryani' !! Anyways back to New Taj Mahal food - the raita served with biryani was yogurtwithout cucumber/carrots/cilantro. The rice pudding had an unknown smell which I didn't like, but the texture was good. The vegsamosa and gulab jamun was ok. Lamb meat was properly cooked but the gravy/sauce was actually tomato puree. Overall I wouldn'trecommend any meat items as those could be undercooked, too oily and spicy. Read more
Service is good and fast. - They have Lunch Buffet. We order our dinner. -Appetizers Tea , vegetable samosas and Lamb... Kabab. -Main course Butter Chicken and Garlic Nan Goat Biriyani Palak paneer and rice. Food is okay. (Portion size quality offood and price is not matching.) Read more
WOW!! I got the butter curry (chicken), and a piece of garlic naan. Best Indian food I have had in a long time. I got the order... togo and it was very nicely packaged. On top of all that it even came with rice and a free pop! 10/10 Read more
