The menu and reviews for this place look amazing. I wish I could have enjoyed the food. However, they don?t do carry out unless... you?re staying at the hotel. That is one of the strangest policies I have ever heard. Read more

This was a fantastic find. Great happy hour prices. I HIGHLY recommend their pepperoni pizza. It was delicious. I really didn't... expect it, I assumed it would be reheated frozen pizza, but that was not the case. It was so good. So much flavor. This place isa little pricey, but it is so relaxing. Loved it. Yes! Randomly staying at the hotel during visit to Columbus. Attracted to the big, beautiful lobby bar - great drinks! Ended up... staying for dinner after looking at the menu. This is great food. Read more

We made late dinner reservations for a fave well-known German Village restaurant, but my son's HS graduation at The... Schottenstein Center took much longer than expected. Scrambling for good food late at night we stumbled upon Moda, less than amile away. And slowly realized it was in the Mariott after driving past it, lol. We were pleasantly suprised by how deliciousthe food was! Ordered a cooked carrot and hummus plate, seasoned with Za'atar. Man, it was simple, yet phenomenoal! The turkeyBLT, Moda burger, Moda salad w/salmon, and fries were excellent as well. Skylar, the bartender/waitress was great! Saved to mylist of faves. Will be dining here again. Read more

Hit the spot!!! During my stay last year at the Residence Inn, I was on my way to the parking lot to get something from my car... and discovered Moda. Its located right in the main area of the hotel so you can't miss it. I was planning on going out thatnight but as the night went on it started to rain then pour!! My original plan was to go downtown or hit some of the bars in thearea, but I decided on plan B due to rain. Plan B was to work out, catch up on work, watch a movie and get a good nights sleepfor a change, but a person has to eat...right? I headed downstairs from my suite and went to MODA. There were people scatteredabout the restaurant area, some eating and some drinking some doing both. I saw some of the food that the other guests wereeating and their plates were devoid of food (good sign). I sat at the bar with a few other travellers and met some really coolpeople. The bartender was a really cool gal, whose name eludes me but she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menuand the local craft beers that MODA served. When it came time to order I took my bartenders advise and ordered the soup of theday, a beef stew which looked like chili. For the main course this evening I tried the braised beef tacos AKA BARBACOA TACOS.Much to my delight the stew was on point and matched my beer perfectly. I switched beer for the second course, the tacos whichwere messy, like a taco should be, but the braised beef was insanely good, juicy and tender. The street corn side was a reallyrefreshing and interesting side. Hey!! I only tried two things but both were prepared right, and both were a good take onclassic foods. I would eat there again!!!
