I pass by this dubious established on my too and from route to work everyday. I trusted the mostly true stereotype of any... restaurants touting southern style eats run by Brothas in a rough neighborhood is going to be so good "it'll make you smack yomama". Unfortunately that cultural standby does not hold true here. I came for the Tennessee crunchy explosion of delicious andleft with the soggy disappointment Found in states like Vermont or new Hampshire. Not only was the food atrocious the servicewas almost as stereotypical and cliche as this entire review. Rude, indifferential attitudes and spoken word retentionalcomprehension of a 5 year old toddler reigned supreme at this house of greasy disappointment. I'd rather go to Popeyes for subpar fare. This place is always packed ??... I can see why lol. The food is hot & fresh all the time, the staff is friendly and... professional. They push a lot of food out their restaurant and people just keep coming back. I ordered a 4 piece whiting fishmeal complete with fries, bread and a drink. Read more
It's hard to pick a star number. The food was very good and not very expensive compared to other places but the service was... okay, yet dry and kinda cold, not friendly and warm like other places. Also, there is no bathroom in site or tables where onecan sit and eat, like on Rally - which is just on the other side of Livingston Ave. Read more

I really enjoy M&M Chicken & Fish on Alum Creek. They are always friendly with us and their food is always hot and fresh. I give... this place a 5 because I like how quick and efficient they are. I am not extremely comfortable with all the 'hangout' activitysurrounding the establishment but, you can't control everything. They are friendly all the times we have gone and our order hasalways been perfect! Compared to some of the other fish and chicken places that are like this one, this one has worked best forus and we have never had an issue. Read more
This place never fails to deliver Delicious Hot Chicken, Fish, Fries & Homemade Desserts..all Delicious. The only reason I'm not... giving it five stars is because I think the prices are a little higher than they should be during the recession. Also..considering that they're just selling Fried chicken & fish....just saying. Read more
It wasn't the best. The catfish was slimy & bread was falling off. The shrimp is mad small & overcooked. The greens are... tasteless, so I put their cayenne pepper hot sauce in it which kind of did the trick. The chicken was small & a lil overcooked &the fries were horrible. Read more
Well you like fish or love it ..then this would be the place to be..They got great food and food that the whole family would????
