Ordered the Pacific Combo, with Kai's Kajun (no heat) seasoning along with a pound of mussels and an order of hush puppies. The... seasoning was incredibly flavourful but per our request, not the least bit spicy. The mussels were cooked perfectly, as were thecrab and shrimp. The hush puppies were good, made better by rolling them in the seasoning our main meal was cooked in. The sweettea is near perfectly sweetened. You can taste the sugar but it doesn't smack you in the face like a lot of places. The staffhere are AMAZING! Ava took care of us most of the night and never once did I feel forgotten or ignored. She made sure we werehappy and had everything we wanted/needed, and was also very knowledgeable in regards to any questions we had. The price pointis about what you would expect from a crab boil/seafood. The quality definitely matches the cost. I 100% recommend visitingKai's if you're in Columbus or just visiting and enjoy shellfish, crab, or the like! Read more
Look here, this place is amazing!! The food is excellent and we had some bomb Margaritas ?? Snow Crab, Shrimp - so much that the... next day we had shrimp and grits at home. best meal I?ve had in CBUS. so so so so freaking good!!!!! I had never had a boil before, and my mind was blown. The spice was... so great, and delicious I could not stop saying how much I loved it while eating it, and then told everyone I talked to about itthe next day! We love Kai's! I've had crab boils in numerous places including New Orleans and Maryland and Kai's has them beat. Surprisingly!... Their cajun seasoning is my favorite. It is oretty expensive but in my opinion it's definitely worth it. I ordered Dungenesscrab and shrimp. I also tried a blue crab, which ive never had before. It was ok but the rest was awesome! This was my first time here. Definitely will not be my last. The service was great & she told us how to properly use our... utensils for cutting the legs. We had the king crabs with potatoes, corn & shrimp, with the Kai?s Cajun & it was fantastic. Itis for sure pricey, but seafood in general is. Especially with prices going up everywhere it is to be expected. I also had thefried calamari & it was excellent & not rubbery at all. Good food, great fun. You can control how much you spend. Everyone in our party of 4 was happy with their meal. I had the Gulf... Combo, mussels and shrimp, with sausage and corn, Kai's sauce, medium heat, and it was terrific. I brought half of it home,there was so much. They give you bibs and plastic gloves, which you definitely need! Read more
