Amazing service and staff, I cannot remember their name but I do believe it was the manager he let me try a piece of chicken... with the "warm" sauce/heat since I've never tried it before, and even came back to check up on how I liked it. Staff there areso friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing! Had been years since I've been here, so trying the fries was newbut they are AMAZING! Super good chicken and I don't eat everyone's chicken. It was nice and juicy and well seasoned. The coleslaw was fresh as well.
We got the hot chicken sandwich with mac and cheese. Absolutely fantastic sandwich! The mac and cheese is definitely different ?... not super creamy, but great flavor. Every order comes with free sweet tea, free house-made ranch (which was the GOOD ranch,FYI), and free bread! The guy at the counter saw my face light up when he asked if we wanted pickles, then he asked if I wantedextra! Super pleased with the food and service. Definitely worth the trip! Read more
Went there with my friend who wasn't very impressed with their establishment and that's the reason for the low rating... Ordered... the chicken legs as they were out of thighs. Got the second heat level and it was Spicy and tender. Friend ordered the breastmeat no heat. She found that to be chewy and dry, not tender. We both liked the tea but it is no longer free with meal. Orderedthe Mac and cheese,which I liked but she said was to dry. I liked the coleslaw but friend didn't like it being vinegar based.Ordered the baked beans but waited 45 minutes never to receive them.They offerd to substitute them ,so I got the fries. We bothliked them. The Banana pudding was very good and we both liked it. The bread and pickles included with meal was just O.k..Overall service was very good with reasonable wait time for food but cashier and kitchen staff were not working well keepingpeople up to date on availability of the sides! The value of the meal wasn't quite up to par and for a restaurant thatspecializes in chicken alone,it wasn't all that spectacular! Spent $41 including a $5 tip. Probably would stop in again if I wasin the vicinity or shopping nearby but certainly won't drive 100 miles out of my way to go there! My friend said she would notreturn again and so sorry to take her there for her birthday!
