Used to come here often, but we quit coming because the portions were never consistent & food would always be burnt. Came in... today for take out & not surprised my food is swimming in grease & is very disgusting & burnt ..wasted money. I?m not eatingthis plate of grease. For the price of these plates this is very unacceptable. It?s like the food is being cooked in the dark. Idon?t see how serving food that looks like this is okay. Ordering take out here? The good: The food! The food tastes great and the quality is great. You will like the food. The bad: The atmosphere is kind of... sad and depressing. They need a bit of a refresh. The employees all seem pretty sad and unhappy to be there. Our serer was okay,but he was dressed in a T-shirt and looked worn out. He did his job, but didn't interact with us. It seems like they were shortstaffed. Our chef did the volcano trick and that is where the interaction ended. Overall, if you want quality food. This placewill do the job. If you are wanting the overall Japanese Steakhouse experience then this place will disappointyou. Recommendation: Get takeout. You'll experience quality food without the sadness. Read more

Food was good. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is great. Cool fish tanks and ponds and very quiet.

*Update* I was unable to go, it was a little too far from where I was staying. I am quite sad about that. However, if it is the... same as it was years ago, I would recommend. 10/10. I haven't been here in at least 5 years. I plan on going soon, and willupdate this as needed. This place was my childhood, as I grew up in Columbus, I loved to go here. Have been to a number of Hibachi joints and this one still has the best food. I enjoy the decor not really having changed over... the years as I?ve been coming here for years. Shrimp is awesome. Fried rice is great. Salad dressing, soup and yum yum sauce areall top notch. Meat is always fresh. Read more

Came here with hubs cause there was a coupon. It was quite a disappointing experience, unfortunately. Came here early on a... Saturday so wasn't too busy. So apparently they have you wait till there's at least 8 people to sit you together. Waiter wasquick to take our orders and quick to make you leave. Our cook was amazing and food was decent. I got the filet mignon andlobster (lobster was not worth it, didn't taste that good). Hubs got the Shogun which I preferred my filet mignon over. The mealalso had shrimp, salad, cooked veggies and rice of either steamed or fried (basically you pay extra to watch your rice getcooked in front of you). What we HATED most was the waiter came immediately right after the cook left, asked if we needed boxesto go when we barely just got out meals. Then returns in about 10 mins and gives us all our checks and was literally justwaiting for us to pay. Felt like they just wanted to rush us out so they can serve the next group when there were 2 otherhibachi tables available to use! Would never come back here even with a better coupon deal.
