Went for brunch after I had heard decent reviews about Ethyl. I thoroughly enjoyed my crispy fried chicken buttermilk biscuits,... with honey sauce and Swiss chard. I'm a big eater so I could appreciate more chicken, but the piece was still heartyportioned. Service was prompt and welcoming from our collegiate waitress. There menu doesn't match what you get. I got the tank breakfast "breakfast sausage" is a bratwurst first of all. The menu said... French toast it was white or wheat according to the bartender. I subbed pancakes and they burnt one side and undercooked theother. You could smell the burnt through the box. I also ordered over easy and they were a soft scramble at best. Verydisappointed today. A great brunch spot, food portions and quality are very good, and drinks are well priced. Alongside good music and a nice... ambiance, Ethyl is a great spot to get food with friends. I had the chicken and waffles and they were delicious. And the $5nacho deal is worth every penny. Enjoyable spot, would recommend to anybody! Read more
Slow service on a Sunday. Coffee came cold and had to send it back twice to get it hot. Food was okay, portions were good.
Had the breakfast burrito for Sunday brunch. Excellent. My only regret is that I do not have the stomach capacity to ear 3 or... 4 of these. Read more
The food was amazing! Every we ordered; the breakfast burrito, the french toast, the breakfast balls and the pancakes looked and... tasted gourmet!! A little work could be done on the service though, not bad but room for improvement Read more
Definitely a spot for college students with hangovers and low expectations. We went on a Sunday and they were out of a good... amount of items listed on their menu. We were only told that as we ordered, not prior to ordering. The table we sat at was dirtyand my husband requested the game on the tv (we sat in a room by ourselves because those were the only seats available) and hewas told there were no games on… No Sunday NFL, where ma’am?! So we had to pull it up on our phones to show her that therewere intact games on. The food was ok, I had the bison burger and have no complaints about it but also it wasn’t enough tobring me back.
