I had never been to Ding Ho yesterday was the 1st time.. And sadly my last. The food was totally bland had no flavor. I got... shrimp lo mein, egg roll, crab Rangoon. Lo mein noodles was to be soft. Noodles was crunchy and soft. A lot of green stuff maybekale. Crab Rangoon tasted weird. Egg roll was super crunchy. My sister in law and I both agreed that we should have gone toPanda Express. Her meal was just as nasty. Read more

The food is excellent. I like the "make any entree into a meal" feature. For an addition $7.50 you get an egg roll, soup, 1 bbq... rib and 1 fried shrimp. Add your entree. It's like making your own combo plate. Had pork chop suey. Total bill was around $16.Good family atmosphere. Read more

Ding Ho has been a restaurant pillar on the West Side of Columbus, Ohio since the 1950s. Their food is so delicous. I don't live... in Ohio now so going to this place is very nostalgic. The eggrolls are so good, really the standard that I judge all egg rollsagainst. The chicken fried rice is also a must: so savory, a true comfort food. This visit I was eating vegetarian/vegan, so Igot the Buddha Delight (pictured). I'm not sure if it was 100% vegan, but it was great: crisp stir-fried broccoli and savoryfried tofu. Ding Ho changed locations a while back, but for most of its history it was on Broad Street, near a motel. Fornostalgia's sake, I prefer the old location. The amazing wooden statue of the dragon at the bar stirred my imagination as achild, and I'm a writer now. The new location is great, and the service is always hospitable and nice. I love this place. This was the most disgusting Chinese I?ve ever had in my life. I mean the smell alone was enough to scare me away before even... trying a bite. The fried rice smells horrible and the chicken tastes so weird.. I can?t put my finger on it but it was not madecorrectly or very old sauce. Crab Rangoon was horrible. Egg roll was edible. The rest was absolutely disgusting. Read more

Some of the worst Chinese I have had in a long time. Chains like Panda Express are better. I pity people who think this is good.... The lunch menu is very small with the same old stuff. I got General Tao and the sauce was more like jello than a sauce. Frozenbattered chicken just bleh. The service was good but that was the only thing. Read more
