Visited Dublin to hangout with my brother and his wife. Came to Sawmill to relax and knock down some pins. Front desk staff was... super friendly and helpful in getting us a lane. They were really busy, so we were asked to sit in the bar until our lanes wereavailable. Dom was SUPER professional and helpful with setting us up. Great atmosphere, 10/10 would bowl here again. Came in to get a pair of lanes to practice and kill some time. Dom at the front desk was super helpful in getting me set up.... Talked to me about some of the Leagues they offer. The beer was cold, Lori the bartender was very friendly and made it a pointto follow up when my drink was getting low. Great place to relax and practice for both recreational and competitive bowlers. We purchased summer passes for our family, which are a great value! We came on Tuesday and Friday in one week and our boys, 7... and 4 years old, loved it! Both times it was not crowded. They had music playing and the staff was helpful getting the bumpersset up for us. When we came back on Friday, the lane we were assigned had a dirty table where people had eaten earlier. We hadto sit at the table for the next lane over and no one cleared the dirty table the entire time we were there. We ordered foodfrom the QR code on the table and it took 45 min to get it because the guy in the kitchen wasn't checking the online orderscreen. After my husband went up to tell him about our order, our food came out first and the kids had to wait another 5-10minutes. It was not food I would recommend or pay for again. During our time Friday, we also quickly realized the musicplaying was exactly the same and played in the same order as Tuesday. (edit*) Went back again, just the boys and me, and thestaff was very helpful and friendly. One man helped me carry the bowling slide for my 4 year old then came back and gave us twoarcade cards for the boys to play a few games. So many lanes, and it's really nice inside. A really good selection of ball weights and they were all in good condition. The... have many specials on different nights of the week, so look for those. We bowled two games each and had a great time. If youhave a military discount, it will save you a lot of money. Read more
Purchased a Groupon which could only be redeemed at this location or the one in Grove City. After two failed attempts to redeem... it, we were finally permitted to be assigned a lane. When I initially tried to use this Groupon, the front desk turned away meaway. Their reasoning - 1. No available lanes (despite the fact that lanes were visibly available, apparently you must reservethem online which also requires you to pay in advance - at a much higher rate than the Groupon I already purchased) and 2. ThatFriday afternoons from 4-6 pm are apparently ?reserved for high school students? despite the fact that there is zero mention ofthis on the website, nor on the Groupon I bought, nor on the front door. Therefore, we were told to leave and come back later,which we begrudgingly did since my Groupon was nearing expiration and if we had not come back the same day we likely would?venever gotten another chance to bowl before it expired. This is just a word of caution for those bowlers trying to find a gooddeal - the fine print doesn?t specify any of this and although the price might seem tempting, redeeming it is a whole otherstory. In the end, we had fun, just more of a hassle than it needed to be and nobody likes the experience of being turned awayfrom something they?ve already paid for. Read more
