This was my last time, food cold and for $9 the burrito was small....way smaller than chipotle and for $6 the baby burrito was... the size of a big egg roll. Too many better options for the money. All around not good Read more

My first time eating here, will be my last. Should've trusted my gut and got HotHeads instead. Saw this place on UberEats and... figured I would give it a try, I'm fat so naturally, I liked the idea of tots on a burrito bowl, but EVERYTHING in my bowl wasburnt, tots (pictured) looked like lumps of coal, the rice was burnt and so crunchy, chicken was so dry, black beans were somushy, just everything went wrong with my order. Was so excited to pass this location as I?ve always had a great experience at the Athens location. I love the loaded burrito,... but unfortunately today it came out cold, dry, and had zero flavor. Very disappointed with this experience, it was definitely awaste of money. Hope management can revamp this place! Read more

I?ll give them this? the order is exactly what I ordered. Both sauces, burrito was well wrapped, but good lord. The Philly... burrito tasted like trash. The beef was old (tasted like it was beyond spoiled) and the remaining ingredients were brown. Iwould not recommend and good luck trying another burrito. Read more

Pretty poor experience, rice was crunchy and undercooked, burrito was overall lacking in flavor. Up charges for meats and sauces... aren?t clearly stated on the menu. Mediocre at best, Chipotle is sadly much better. Very disappointed given how positive of anexperience I had at their Athens location many years ago. Read more

My wife and I are OU alums that have loved Big Mamma's since we first tried it nearly 14 years ago. The court street location... was a typical stop on the way home many Saturday nights as we both loved their burritos and especially the sombrero sauce. I wasalways happy to wait in line for twenty or more minutes for their amazing food. Everything always tasted the same every singletime we went. We were so excited when we heard about this location opening up in Columbus. We did notice slight differencesfrom the Athens location the very first time we tried it, like the chips coming in smaller bags and the burritos being smaller, but at least the food tasted nearly as good as we remembered, so we ignored it. Due to Covid and our proximity to thislocation, it's been over two years since we've had it. I don't know what has happened in that time, but wow has the food gonedownhill. My Chipotle ranch burrito was even smaller than the last few times. It was probably 80% rice and with only thesmallest hint of ranch flavor. It actually tasted sweet. I actually asked my wife if there was any chance this was from adifferent big mamma's. I had to douse it in hot sauce to finish it. But the worst of all was the sombrero sauce. It wascompletely different and nothing like the original. It's as if they forgot to add half the ingredients. The cheese was stillsolid and unmelted. Not creamy or even mixed at all. Much smaller portion, well under half what we used to get. I always gotthe impression that this location had little to no affiliation with the original in Athens, but all of my doubt it now removed. I can say with 100% certainty that I will never eat at this location again. I'd rather drive to Athens to ensure I get the realthing. Note to the owner, please for the love of all things that are good in the world change everything back to how they usedto be. From reading over a hundred or so reviews from the last two years it's clear that something has changed and the Read more

This place never fails! I?ve tried the Mamma Grande, the chipotle ranch burrito, and more recently their new item, suggested by... the employees, the breakfast melt! It was amazing. Their hot salsa is always on point! Not too hot but really full of flavor. Read more
