Great food for a hotel bar. Good cocktail list and good selection. The staff there are really what makes it a great bar!
The place had great potential. Was pleased to have the place almost to myself. There were more employees than patrons.... Unfortunately, unfriendly, inattentive service lost me. They paid more attention to each other than the guests. Could not getbartenders attention to change channels, had to get my own beer at one point. The beers were good, the food was adisappointment. Nice solid go to for drinks if you're in the hotel. Staff and bartenders are very friendly and helpful. I only ate the pretzel... bites (they were meh), but they had a lot of people ordering takeout, so could be good. Either way, I'd go back. Read more

Tried their wings, chicken quesadilla, and BYO burger. Their chicken quesadilla was amazingly good, totally didn?t expect that.... Their wings are mediocre, burger was ok too, but the fries? man, it was disgusting. I don?t know when was the last time they?vereplaced the oil, it was all dark and soggy. Could have been a better experience. Waited in a line for a bit to walk to a register for a drink before 2 spots opened at the... bar. So we left the line and sat at the bar. Took a decent 5 minutes before the bartender even took a look at us. Had to flagdown another bartender just to get service. It was just as hard to get a second round of drinks. Only had 2 before we left. Itwas busy but not busy enough for that slow of service. Would recommend trying another place for drinks. Read more
The Big Bar on 2 is the bar and dining section of the Hyatt Regency hotel. It is conveniently positioned right in the middle of... the hotel by the escalators and several steps away from the ballroom areas. The dining section itself has about maybe 20 - 25tables. Solid seating area for guests during conventions but not quite as large as the dining/ bar area of the Hilton hotelnearby. I can image the area getting filled to capacity rather quickly when larger conventions take place in the area. Thisreview on the bar service. I was in town for an animation convention and the hotel bar provided a special drink menu for gueststhat weekend. The drink was called "The Scallywag". It was essentially an Arnold Palmer with Captain Morgan Spiced Sum. Theearthy taste of tea leaves balanced with the freshness and sweetness of lemonade combined with the spice of Captain Morgan rumput this drink over the top. Kudos to the head mixologist at the hotel to come up with such a great simple drink. Also the bartenders executed this drink perfectly the entire weekend. The bartenders were quick to take orders and produce drinks at asteady pace. I didn't have to wait that long for drinks. It also helped there we people on the floor taking drink orders andrunning orders during the night hours. Read more
Took an hour to get 2 glasses of wine. The QR code menu showed $7.25/ glass. We bought 2 glasses and total came to $26. When we... asked about the price, we got the excuse that it was "the price of the pour". Whatever that meant because it wasn't on the menu. Manager "reduced" the bill to $21.50. Read more
