This place was not what I expected at all. The food was less than average at best.. I cook better at home.. service was cool.... And it did have a decent BAR atmosphere.. which is the issue.. I didn't expect it to be a bar.. I feel like they should stick tobar food.. oh and they ran out of Jack Daniels... Read more

Very nice spot. Food is very good and service was very friendly and welcoming. My only “minor” complaint is we were not told... the card machine to pay the bill was broken until it was time to pay. We were advised it was cash only but there was an ATMmachine if we needed to withdrawal cash. Of course we would have had to pay ATM fees so the next alternative was to cash app theowner, which we chose to do. I barely use cash app but was able to move money. However, my friend planned to use a Visa GC shehad and was unable to. The card machine being broken happens but we should have been told this ahead of time to preventinconvenience. Otherwise food was great and I would recommend. Read more

Recently visited Beyond the brix on a Saturday around 5pm. They were still serving brunch which was a delight had the grits and... fish. The food was delicious seasoned well. The drinks were nice and strong. The establishment was very clean. They didn’thave music playing which was okay but I did learn that they offer a comedy show on Tuesday evenings. The owner was friendly aswell Shante’ I believe that’s her name. She did come talk to us and gave us some history on her establishment. I definitelywill return in the future to catch the evening vibe. I do recommend visiting this establishment. Read more

My friends and I were excited to try this spot because we’ve heard some great things about it. we tried to get in last year... but it was extremely packed so in my mind that is a good sign. Unfortunately I’m not sure if they focus on brunch as much asthey used to. Another reviewer pointed out, the menu was extremely limited and for a brunch spot they didn’t offer coffee ortea which was a surprise. Shrimp and grits, fish and grits, chicken and waffles, and I believe a side of something I can’tremember what it was. I feel like the drinks we received were a bit overpriced for the liquor included but I know bars are inthe business to make money. We all ordered something different with hopes of sampling each other’s food, but, unfortunately Iwas underwhelmed with my meal as were the rest of my party, so it wasn’t as exciting to try something different as we werehoping it would be. I would say that this is a nice location and it seems like they would have a pretty good bar crowd. As faras brunch I would say there are other options in the Columbus area that are much better. As always, support local businesses andI look forward to possibly trying this place in the evening so I can enjoy their bar and nightlife. Read more

This place dope af. Great music by the DJ, the waitresses are beautiful and attentive. The overall ambiance of the spot was... great. The French Toast was absolutely delicious and melted in my mouth. The scrambled eggs actually reminded me of my grandmaswhich was cool and confusing all at the same time. My girl got the bottomless mimosas and I'm pretty sure she enjoyed thembecause she's absolutely plastered right now. Read more
