I was cheerfully greeted as I entered this restaurant. Automatically the decor grabs you as there?s signs about the spices used... to prepare the food and signs of the health benefits of menu items. I ordered jollof rice, beans, plantains and a colorful saladwith cucumbers, corn and a house made salad dressing. Overall good food and experience. Read more
We visited Afra Grill in Easton hoping to try fufu. It?s the only Pan-African menu we could find with a vegan option.... Unfortunately fufu is only served on Fridays but were not disappointed with the food? it?s amazing! We tried the jollof rice,veggie samosas, sweet crepes, beans, plantains and cucumber salad. Delicious! This place has wonderful authentic African cuisine, and super friendly staff! The staff helped us with suggestions... and in general were super friendly. The whole atmosphere of the place is fun, and is super clean. I definitely recommend thespicy chicken over rice! The Bashaal juice was a rich and creamy drink completely unique to me. I?ve been highly anticipating the opening of this location of Afra Grill! My experience here was great. Everyone was so friendly... & they kindly explained the food items that I wasn?t familiar with. She even added a little bit of the Jollof rice to my plateso that I could try it. There?s such a variety of items to choose from including fish & vegetarian options. Everything I got wasso good and you can tell it?s all fresh. Oh and I feel like the portions are really good for the price you pay. Definitely willbe coming back here! Read more
Really good food and generous portions, I had the jollof rice and the habo steak with the veggi mix, and everything was hot,... well seasoned, and mouth-wateringly good.
