We wanted to try something different so decided to check out AfraGrill. We loved the spicy food. The gentleman working there... stepped us through their rices, proteins, and sides. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Food was absolutely amazing. Service was absolutely amazing. The restaurant was probably the... cleanest restaurant I've ever been in. Huge portions of authentic and delicious food. They also had outstanding sides and freshjuice/lemonade options. My son had the mango juice and loved it. Meals= You pick a base, a protein, 2 hot toppings, 3 coldtoppings and a sauce. I had a spicy chicken and my son had the goat. Both were excellent. Great food, great service and greatvibe. My husband had always wanted to try this restaurant, so we went there on a Tuesday for an early dinner. Our proteins were... roasted goat and habo steak. They were tender and aromatic! I especially loved their flavorful plantains! Our drinks weredelicious! The texture of their bashaal juice was fine and smooth. I was amazed by their iced tea that was spiced delicately. Itwas really good! The staff was friendly and patient. We couldn't ask for more! I gave it 4 stars because they used takeoutboxes for dining in, and that did not feel right to me. Absolutely delicious food. You pick your base, protein, veggies and sauce. Everyone at the table loved their food. You very much... get your money's worth. And everything is served in a to go style container. Most patriotic restaurant I've ever dined at andthey also have bidets in the bathroom. Read more
Food is very delicious here. I've been several times, I've always ordered my food to go. I would have given them 5 stars but... the serving sizes of the food progressively went down hill throughout the past year. I probably won't be going back anymorejust because I can't justify the amount of food for the price. Before the price was ok because there was a ton of food but nowits like I can go somewhere else because I will disappointed after a few bites. They let you pick 3 items for type of food so Iusually get salad and plantains twice. Apparently you're not allowed to get plantains twice or anything twice. So not a fan ofhaving options to choose from but then being controlled on what I can pick. Rubbed me the wrong way so wont go back. FOOD isGREAT nonetheless. Check it out for yourself. Maybe serving sizes will be better in the future. I guess covid had an effect. Read more
This was my first time here. I had been wanting to try this place for the longest. My husband wanted chipotle and I said lets... try Afra grill best decision ever!!! I had the Mango Lassa and Chicken Suqaar with spicy rice pickled red onions,salsa,plantainsand beans. So delish!!! I will be back forever. The price is worth it!!
