I had the pulled pork sandwich from the truck this afternoon at New Belgium. It was like shredded paper - so dry and completely... tasteless. I had to juice it up with the not-so-good sauce to make it edible. I was truly shocked. We do not suffer bad food inAsheville. Worst excuse for pulled pork ever. Read more
This place was clean. The barbecue was nothing to brag about. It was just ok. The hush puppies were plain, about like cornbread,... had no onions, which would have helped the taste. Prices was good, but you had to order and sit down. No waitresses. They wouldbring your order to you. You get your own drink and your own refills. All said and done, I would give them 4 stars. Mountain view BBQ makes some really good barbecue. They also have a really good sweet tea, which is the keystone of a good... restaurant. But I recommend calling and seeing what the special of the day is. Their meatloaf sandwich is the bomb! Read more
