My husband and I go out of our way to stop here. Sandwiches are great (of course pork tenderloin). Mac and Beer cheese yummy... but a MUST is the Kraut Balls as an appetizer, a real great surprise. Not classy in the least, but sure worthwhile stopping by. Read more
This is the best place for beer in Columbus. Their variety and quality of rotations on tap and nitro is excellent. There is... always something new and wonderful to try. About half the chalkboard is different day-to-day. The food is Southern Hoosier andGerman-inspired, mostly. There are also fish tacos and the "Chupacabra" wrap. If you're really hungry get thejagerschnitzel. This is probably the most "local" pub in the neighborhood if you want to get a feel for the community. There'sa mug club to go along with Cheers-like congeniality and the usual suspects. Everybody on the staff is pleasant and friendly.It's a swell little joint. Read more
Had the kraut balls snack and the meatloaf Sandwich. The balls were really good. I would like to see some more texture in the... meatloaf sandwich. Maybe sear the meatloaf on the grill or flattop to add some crunch. Read more

I’ve been a local to this bar for about 8 or 9 years and have always had great experiences. I was finally able to try their... World famous Tenderloin. And I have to say, they’ve got one of the best in Columbus. I do love their French fries. And theirhamburgers are very tasty. A must visit if you’re in the area! Read more
I was in town for the night with my brother, doing my son of 5 for a national guard deployment. I have to admit that I was not... terribly impressed when I first walked in. The bartender was great. We popped in for a drink and, after being talked up by thebartender, we thought we would give dinner a shot. I'm not going to lie, I travel a ton for work and this was some of the bestbar good 6 I've ever had. The kraut balls are AMAZING. My brother and I had the pork snitzal dish with the garlic mashedpotatoes and my son had the meat loaf sandwich. We could not have been happier. It was truly impressive. A tip, if you get thesnitzal: split it with a friend. You will still walk away full! Read more
