It is very very hot, the air conditioning does not work, the employees are sick, and look absolutely exhausted, some are... experiencing heat exhaustion, another person who came in even passed out due to heat exhaustion just the other day. The workerswere even told by the higher ups that they were not allowed to have fans, there have been heat advisories all week. Read more
Sunday morning, poor service. Food came out piecemeal. Had to ask for coffee refills. Got my order wring but didn?t send it... back as I was afraid of how long it wold take to get a replacement. Only one or two of the many staff seemed to be alert andinterested in their work. Read more
Stayed at the Days Inn across the street. This is the first Waffle House I?ve been to that was ran by ALL WOMEN & let me tell... you the food was outstanding. I feel like grits are always hit or miss anywhere you go, but everything I ordered was SPOT ON. Ididn?t have to add a drop of salt, pepper, or ketchup to anything. My server was Lakendra* might not be her name lol, but shecame to me as soon as I sat down and had me put the door with my order super quick. I've been to WaHo quite a bit in my lifetime and I have to say that I have the most consistently-positive experiences at this... location. The staff is almost always on the ball and friendly and you'll get appropriately-prepared meals, too. This locationgets paricularly busy late nights on holidays and weekends, so plan accordingly.
