Reviews for Trevioli Italian Kitchen in Columbus, GA
Took a young lady here on a first date the food and portion size was absolutely outstanding. This is a locally owned restaurant... and not a chain. I asked for a quiet corner table so we could talk and they were happy to provide a table. The atmosphere andvolume of background music was lovely. The only complaint I have is that for two entrees, two salads, a beer, and a margaritathe bill was $90 plus tip. No deserts no appetizers. It was a lovely evening with a pretty girl and great conversation, but bythe time I left my wallet was $110 lighter. The meal was great but should have been in the $60 range IMO. Read more
Is there anything better than wining & dining?..I think not. This week we treated ourselves to a 5 course meal & wine pairing... at Trevioli Italian Kitchen North Columbus and it was a straight up 5 star feast. The portions were generous, the presentationwas great, and the food just got more delicious with every plate. And to top it all off, the staff was very personable andaccommodating. For starters, we had a squash & pumpkin seed salad with crisp, refreshing iceburg lettuce. Although I prefer anarugala for my salads, this was perfect for the season..it was summer meets fall. I have no better words for the chicken &bacon corn chowder other than amazing. It was thick and creamy and full of flavor. I have never had ravioli with venison, buti'm glad I have now. The meat was tender & juicy, and the onion jam and slices of carrot garnishings added a great mix of sweetto the savory stuffing. Time for duck! And bonus.. foie gras! It was delicate and prepared better than I've had in somerestaurants in France & Italy. And the duck was just the right amount of fatty. Not big on wine? That's ok cause they havepretty good cocktails too. I recommend the blood orange margarita & the pineapple upside down off the regular cocktail menu. Ifyou're not a drinker, they had a dinner only option as well for $35. Dinner with the wine pairing was $65, which my hubby didjust to taste them all. Also very generous pours. Needless to say, we could not finish our meals, but were happy to take homeleftovers. We did make it to dessert, but I'll keep that one open to the imagination. If you're looking for your next datenight spot, stop in and try it for yourself. Definitely worth it! And when you visit here, be sure to bring your appetite. Read more
While visiting Columbus my husband and I decided to stop by and try the pasta I got the Cajun pasta and he got the crab... macaroni. First let me say the portions are enough for 2. Maybe even 3 people. Both dishes were great! The ambiance was nice andthe staff was equally as nice. Yes it?s a little pricey but you definitely get your money?s worth! Read more
Surprisingly delicious Italian cuisine is a hallmark of this quaint local eatery. With entrees averaging $25 it does come at a... bit of a cost, but if you're a fan of quality Italian food it's well worth it. The meal began with a delicious crusty and chewysourdough loaf served with olive oil infused with herbs. Very good but would have been better if the bread was served warm. Alsotried the goat cheese marinara dip which was served with crostini's. It was very good and loaded with excellent quality freshgoat cheese. For an entrée I enjoyed the Southern Style Chicken Parmesan. A unique take with perfectly cooked lightly breadedchicken smothered in marinara and topped with melted fresh mozzarella. It's served on a bed of fettuccine alfredo. The marinaraand the alfredo mixed to make a beautiful rose colored and delicious sauce. My dinner companion really enjoyed the Crab Mac andCheese. We also ordered the Lobster Bisque soup which they were happy to serve split in two bowls and was also delicious. Verycreamy with big chunks of sweet tender lobster meat a slight hint of nutmeg and drizzled with a little balsamic. One of the bestlobster bisques I've had. The atmosphere and the service were also very nice. Both the bartender and server were friendly andprofessional. The only issue, and it's a pretty big one for me, is that the beer list was severely lacking. No local craft beersand only mainstream uninspired beers. Peroni being the only Italian beer. However there is a good selection of house madesangrias. The berry flavored sangria was excellent. Overall if you love Italian food and don't mind paying for good qualityright in your neighborhood then Trevioli Italian Kitchen is the place to go! Read more
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The entrées were very tasty (Manicotti and Chicken Parmesan) but the... Chicken Parmesan seemed a tad pricey. The bread they served for free was so-so. It was covered in dried oregano and had garlicpowder sprinkled on it. Overall, it gave off the appearance off lower quality than the restaurant seems to be and could benefitfrom a better presentation. Read more

Clean venue. Appears they hire well too. Staff is professional and presentable. Not a bad experience. Food was okay. Dessert was... a little better. I prefer other restaurants for the price. A 3-4 star experience in my book. Thank you. Read more
