This used to be our favorite place but tonight ruined it. We ordered 20 smoked wings which we always have loved, husband picked... it up and when we got home there were only 19, we counted twice. Some of the wing pieces were not even wings. They were somethat looked like nuggets. Most of them were so small there was hardly any meat on them. They were dry and tough. What adisappointment when you are craving something and it doesn't deliver. Then you have spent over $22 plus gas driving there andback from Phenix City. We will not be going back. Decided to revisit Shane's today since I haven't been in quite sometime. Now that I have returned, I've learned that Shane's got... rid of not 1, but 2 of my favorite menu items: wraps & green beans. I ended up with half rack ribs (which were amazing) & sidesalad and okra as my sides. They still have the Peach tea. ???? But, I'm definitely gonna miss the wraps and green beans, thesewere both a hit in my book. Maybe they will bring them back one day. ???? Employees: An error is an opportunity! Usually we go to shane's and have zero issues. We love the food and the prices are good.... But though i should have left a review then I didn't.... what really impressed me this Tuesday night however (7/19) was how thestaff handled some burnt ribs and a side mix up. People make mistakes but man Shane's employees and managers will make it RIGHT.They remade my food, came to check up on us, asked if we needed anything else, asked if it was better, and honestly it was thebest feeling. When a business makes an error and employees are upset or defensive it really makes me not want to return. Whenthey admit the error immediately, apologize and insist on making it right, it lets me know they care about high quality food andgreat customer service. Kudos to the team that night. Read more

We love Shane's. Love the ribs! Peach cobbler???????? sooo good. I ordered a pan Mother's Day evening never thinking it would be... as big as it was. Catering size. They could easily charge $10 more than they do for that huge pan Great food!!!!!!! Read more
Got the pork plate. The atmosphere and staff are nice enough. Got more of a chain vibe than I really wanted for a BBQ place. My... friend got the baked chicken. The sauce was a big help. The meat was kind of bland. The chicken tasted like baked chicken breastand my pork tasted like crock pot pork with a can of coke (it was oddly sweet and nothing else). Sides are fine. It?s a goodplace for a quick bite, but I don?t really think it?s worth going out of your way for at all. Probably won?t come back causethey don?t have brisket, sausage, or smoke. Read more
Really delicious, both my boyfriend and I got the "Two Meat Platter", with macaroni and cheese, baked beans, and fried okra as... sides, fried wings, ribs, and bbq pork as our meats. I have no complaints about anything. Also got half peach tea/ half lemonadeas my drink and it was great! Read more
Let me just say the customer service here is over the top! We were greeted the second we walked in the door. We said we were... there for the first time. Not only did they make food recommendations, but they were proud to be making them. The gentlemanhooked my husband up with a special burger combo. Once we sat down there was a sweet lady who brought us all the sauces to try.She talked with us for a bit, and we laughed a lot. My husband said it was one of the best burgers in Columbus. We moved herethis year and have not found a place with good food and customer service until coming here. We will be back for sure!
