I bought 14 sandwiches and 3 large stews for a little football watching party yesterday and everyone wanted to know where i got... the bbq because it was so good. Best ribs I have ever tasted....I was a certified BBQ judge for several years

This joint used to be my favorite when my parents were alive and lived close by. Best ribs in town and chopped sandwiches were... amazing! I haven't been in a while now that we live out of town and can't seem to find an excuse to ride by that way anymore.The last time we went I think it was Monday or Tuesday, at 11:30AM, they were oddly closed. Been there several times, but only ate once - they can?t seem to decide on a regular time to close. Today (3/2/22) their... website says they close at 2:30. I drop by at 2pm and they say they just closed. When I tell them their website says they closeat 2:30, they ?oh well? it. Called once in the past around 1:30 and was told they?re closed. The only time I?ve been able to geta meal from them the bbq was good - hince the one gold star. Also, the two guys normally behind the counter are two of thebiggest ?no-go-getters? I?ve seen. Completely no initiative. They act like they wish they were somewhere else - which mayexplain why they?re closing time is so sporadic and unpredictable. Read more

I've eaten BBQ from here before and it is good. I had the scrambled dog today with mustard, ketchup, onions, chili, and pickles.... It was pretty good and very filling. The prices are reasonable and about the same as fast food for a much better meal. Read more

This has become one of the best BBQ joints in Columbus. I used to not enjoy the food here but over the past 2 or 3 years... something has changed (maybe it was me that changed) but I have not found anything on their menu that i don't like.
