The last time I ate here was last night, and it may have been my last. They priced me out of Mexican cuisine. Now, if you go at... night, the food costs $3 more than it does during the day. My family used to be able to dine there for $30, but now the samemeal costs $57. Also, if you have a family of five, you will be charged an automatic 18% gratuity. I normally leave a gratuity,but being required to do so is absurd. Tipping is discretionary and dependent on the quality of service delivered, in myopinion. A party of five is not particularly large, so if you typically tip 10%, be aware. Read more
Highly recommend El Carrizo restaurant if you are in the Macon Rd area. This was our first time eating here and we were... impressed. Excellent service from the time walking in until check out. The food is very good, the environment cozy and friendly.Plenty of parking. Read more
My daughter wanted Tacos, so I searched in the area for a restaurant with at least a 4 star rating. We chose this location,... which was convenient for our commute. Upon arriving, parking was quickly available and no waiting to be seated. After beinggreeted by our friendly waiter, we were served within 15 minutes of ordering. Waiter came to the table 3 times and attitude was like hurry up. Or ordered a bean a cheese burrito. Came filled with meat only.... No cheese or wasn't wet like I wanted. Taco was fine. Rice was okay. Salsa was okay. Beans okay. Read more
I got the fajitas with shrimp,chicken and steak and everything about it was overcooked and dry. I informed the manager and he... simply told me I got to pay for it regardless when all the food is still left on the plate. I only took one bite of each meatjust to make sure I wasn't tripping on the quality. This isn't my first time eating here but this is the first time where theexperience was all the way horrible. Very good overall. It is a little pricey for what it is, but still good. The tacos al pastor were wonderful despite being a... little overdone. Good balance of seasonings all around, and great handmade tortillas. The flavor was perfect, but cooking timeand price left a little to be desired. I think our visit will go better next time, we came while it was very busy and I believethat is why the food wasn't cooked as well as it could have been. I will be back to give it another shot!
